South Park

Not up to par with other episodes from last season (the bar was raised REALLY really high), but still funny nonetheless. Cartman was great (as always) and I felt bad laughing at the midget. Ok, no I didn't, but still.

Sorry to bump this but i am very much in the mood to talk about South Park after watching the episode where Jimmy joins scouts. Has to be one of my favourite episodes, the ending is awesome.

There are 3 other standout episodes i can think of. Critter Christmas was absoutely hilarious. The episode where Jimmy and Timmy join the Crips (you can see i dig the Jimmy/Timmy pairing) and ofcourse The Jeffersons.

As for my favourite character, it has to be Randy Marsh. Just how he reacts to certain things is fantastic, him in that episode about that Beaver Dam was awesome, "Don't be a fag!".

Bwahahahahahaha. That was great. What made it better is that I woke up this morning and there was a gay-turned-preacher on Montel Williams. I laughed.

I didn't laugh too much at last night's episode, I think it was mainly because I had my expectations up for Cartman to get charged with kiddy porn.

The whole "I'm bicurious!" thing was cute.

I just didn't enjoy it as much as last week's. That's a serious problem I've found with South Park; once they do something incredibly outrageous, it becomes very difficult to top it, so they have to wait a little bit.

That's what I love about South Park, they don't try to top one of their big episodes that make a statement. They just do another episode. It may have a small statement, it may be 8 year olds being 8 year olds, or it may just be something completely ridiculous. This week's episode was kinda all three. Butters-episodes always get to me because Butters is just so damn innocent, it's hard to watch him in the most uncomfortable and awkward situations. He's such a great character though, if they ever do another SP movie, I see him being heavily-involved in the main story.

I don't know about anyone else, but that was probably my favorite South Park episode in a while. There was SO many great moments in this episode that had me on the floor laughing. So wrong in SO many ways.

Were there previews for SP next week?

Not to my knowledge. Parker takes Wednesdays off and since the show is generally produced in six days, they usually don't have a preview available until after the weekend.

I love it how Kyle and Stan just don't seem to care about anything anymore

That is a subtle nuance of the show that I've really come to enjoy in recent seasons, those two just becoming completely jaded to all the stupid shit around them. It started with "Butt Out" and has just gotten more and more obvious that they're tired of the town, which is pretty much how South Park's core audience feels about the world.

In the past few seasons, two characters have became big, Butters and Randy. Randy is probably my favorite character aside from Cartman and Kenny. And I agree with the stuff on Kyle and Stan. They don't care about stuff going on, so they just try to ignore it. However, it's made them a little less popular IMO.

And the preview is usually shown on Monday or Tuesday.
