WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw 2009

So did they completely remove the feature to be able to trade CAWs online? While I hated how the system was handled (I think a locker system people can just freely download and rate your work is much better) I hate doing CAWs off of formulas that much more. I'm not sure if they removed it or I'm just not seeing it.

Although my created self is white as fuck just like I am, Fu Ge La by the Fugees is awesome for entrance music.

I wish the PS2 version could use custom entrance themes, because I'd love to re-create my old e-fed tag team, the Horror Show; they used "Murder Was The Case" as their team entrance and "Return of the Phantom Stranger" and "Make Me Bad" as their solo entrance themes.

That, and I'm dying to make a wrestler who comes to the ring to the theme from "Airwolf".

I didn't realise there were proper counters to top rope moves, but I just had a match where Undertaker (while standing) countered a moonsault by catching it into an Ultimate Control Powerslam, and then did it again by turning a flying rana into an Ultimate Control Powerbomb. That's a pretty cool feature. Does anyone know the timing to do those reversals though? I thought it was to press just before impact, but that doesn't seem to work....is it when they leap nowadays?

BTW - Not sure if it's a well known feature as I haven't played a Smackdown game in a while, but holding X while carrying a chair next to a fallen opponent's legs sets up a Pillman-izing move, and a similar one on the head. That's another nice little touch.

You have to be particularly quick whilst doing those kinds of reversals. But most of the time it won't work.

Do it to their head while their down, and get another chair, and you'll be able to do the conchairto.

So, my one and only attempt at online play found me as William Regal unable to stop myself from constantly moving left while a mohawked tattooed beast of a CAW booted seventeen shades of fuck out of my face.

Also, losing to Tommy Dreamer in all of five seconds as CM Punk in RTWM is possibly THE embarasment of the decade. Kick kick CRUCIFIX PIN, three count. Ouch.

Online play for me has been terrible. Full of fucks who just spam the hell out of running grapples just as you are about to get to your feet, or the flying moves. Does no one online want to just have a competitive match? Seems like the only way to win is have a one sided spam fest. I don't even care about the points you get when its all done, I'd rather have fun playing. :/

My friend and I played through the Batista/Mysterio RTWM. The final match was awesome. He was Batista, and although I was hitting more moves, he was destroying my health. He hit me the Batista Bomb, but pulled me up at 2 to keep hurting me. I reversed one move, sent him outside, flew over the ropes, then hit the 619 for the win once I got back in. It was a great back and forth match.

Does anyone know when DLC is coming out???

Anyways, I've played Takers and CM Punks and so far I'm impressed with the detail in the RTWM. From the comentary to the cutscenes. It was just a tad unrealistic. Espically cough cough Zombies >_> .

In an interview i listened to with a Q&A with someone from THQ, he said DLC will be released either the last week of November or the first week of December and it will be a BIG pack. He said we'd all be surprised and very pleased with how much stuff they are including in the pack, the "whos" and "whats" that are included are supposed to be big.

Already confirmed:

Evan Bourne, Ted Dibiase Jr., Super Crazy, Charlie Haas, Alternate MVP attire, Alternate Edge attire, Alternate Maria attire, Alternate Kelly attire, 2003 Kane attire, 2008 Chris Jericho attire (trunks)

Now, maybe I'm just retarded, but when using a CAW in Career Mode, can you alter your abilities, and/or get new ones after getting six? For example, I should have the Springboard ability since I won the Cruiserweight championship, along with Fan Favorite, Object Specialist, and probably Tables too. However, I have six abilities now, two of which I don't want (Hammer Throw, Dirty Pins) and I can't seem to get anymore or edit them. =/

Once you get them, they're locked in unless you start the career all over again (takes your stats and abilities back to default). Hopefully the upcoming patch will fix this.
