  1. Yeah, just get the main menu up where you choose to freeburn etc. Go down the list and find "Soundtrack" (I think it's that anyway) Hit across, and then choose custom. If you turn shuffle on, it should then play the songs on your hard drive at random. By pressing R1 (PS3) it'll skip through the songs, just as if you were listening to the songs actually on the game. Shall try that. Thanks much.
  2. First of all, fuck you antlion. It took fucking ages to steal the Gold Helm from him. Later on, fuck you Hilgigars, gave up on stealing the Fairy Flute there. So far the only bosses I haven't stolen from (at all) are the machine thing that chases you across the bridge in Fossil Roo (cause I didn't fight him) and the stone tablet thing in Kuja's mansion (cause Zidane's not in the party at the time). Right now I'm at Mt. Gulug, my party is Zidane, Freya, Quina and Vivi (who will be replaced with Eiko when I get her back). Every other save file I've had has been Zidane, Garnet, Vivi and Steiner, so I'm taking a radically different path this time. Tis different.
  3. Sooo, what's up with the Cagney Burnout 5 Update? I thought it was meant to enable custom soundtracks for the PS3 version of the game, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anybody know?
  4. It's the blu-ray release, with extra scenes that were probably in the last release they did, and with and FFXIII demo, FF agito XIII and Dissidia Final Fantasy video's. There might be some new Advent Children related stuff in there, but that's not why it's going to sell. Got to give it to square, they know how to milk the cash cow again and again and again and again.... and again... and again.
  5. 1. Final Fantasy IX (PS) - This is the one game that I've been able to play over and over and over again no matter what. I currently have about 7 save files for it and I've had a few overwritten and deleted. No matter how many times I play it, I can still play it again. The story, the character design, the ability system, Chocobo Hot & Cold, all of it is just so fantastic. It helps that I consider myself a romantic. 2. Final Fantasy X (PS2) - I don't wanna be typecast, but FFX is the game I've spent the most time on in a single file. There's always something to do in X, though I think that at about 150 hours with everything from Penance to Golden Omega (can't remember his real name) beaten, I'm finally approaching the end of the journey. 3. Metal Gear Solid 4 (PS3) - I don't think there are words to properly describe the awesomeness of MGS4. The variety in missions, scenery and settings is enough without including story, music, gameplay and all that other ridiculous stuff. Needless to say, it deserves this spot, and would be higher if I didn't enjoy the other 2 games far more than is healthy. 4. Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) - Golden Sun was amazing, class customisation was fantastic, the music was beautiful, the characters were funny, and the story was your classic jewels and elements type affair, with it's fair share of twists. And quite amazing was how long the game was considering it was one GBA. 5. Metal Gear Solid (PS) - I love the boss battles. Simple as that tbh, though there's far more to it than that. For one, the voice acting, especially back then was superb. And liquid almost cannot be beat in terms of badassery. 6. Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2) - They managed to successfully combine Final Fantasy characters from several games, and Disney favourites. Awesome. Kingdom Hearts 2 beats the original onto the list because of improved camera movement, better battle gameplay, and a more grown-up storyline, while still being suitable for children of a very young age. Also, it has that one markout moment for FF fanboys where Squall and Cloud go back to back against the heartless. Did I mention that Christopher Lee has a fucking awesome voice? No? Christopher Lee has a fucking awesome voice. 7. Final Fantasy XII (PS2) - Yeah, back to Final Fantasy. FFXII really would not have made it near my top 50 had you asked me about a year ago. But after having started over and played through properly, I can happily say that were it not for the lack of character involvement in the story, it would be in my top 5. The new battle gameplay presented quite an adjustment period for me, but I've come to realise that it's a change for the better, and I hope that future FF games continue to evolve FFXII's battle system. More strategy, and lots of fun, it was just the largely political storyline which irked me. 8. Pokemon Diamond (DS) - OK, I lied. I've played Diamond more on the one file than I have FFX, but there's 493 pokemon to catch on diamond. I feel that Diamond was the first pokemon game to really involve me since Silver, they tried to work with the story, and the villains and heroes weren't quite as 2 dimensional as the 3rd gen pokemon games. Why diamond over Pearl though? Cause Dialga looked cooler at the time. >_> 9. GTA IV (PS3) - This really is the first GTA game that I could play and not hate it after a few hours of storyline play. San Andreas annoyed me to no end, mostly because of it's RPG-like elements which really didn't belong. This is the first GTA game that I've never felt the urge to use cheats to spice things up and make things more fun. This is the first GTA game that I've actually beaten the storyline of because while it did challenge me, it wasn't hard, and finally, this game has so much variety online that with or without friends, it's always fun. -I wasn't sure if we were to nominate one platform of a game over others, but if so, PS3 gets my vote, just cause it's the version I have, and cause online is free. 10. Tekken 3 (PS) - Yeah, there's more recent Tekken's, but they have some problems that stop me from fully enjoying them. Tekken 4, way too slow and unresponsive, Tekken 5, had a final boss that could kick your ass repeatedly with just 2 moves (if you were unlucky) on the easiest difficulty setting. So Tekken 3 wins out.
  6. PSN: Trance_Kuja Games Owned: Assassin's Creed Burnout Paradise F.E.A.R. GTAIV Lair MGS4/MGSO Resistance SVR08 Games Being Played Online: Burnout Paradise F.E.A.R. GTAIV MGS4/MGSO Resistance
  7. The first thing I must say is that I don't try to 100% games. So if I've seen the credits roll, I've beaten the game. PS1 V-Ralley Mortal Kombat Trilogy Disney's Atlantis Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories (The end of this game is so fucking impossibly hard. I've beaten it with cheats, but unless you're lucky enough to have the best cards, you're fucked). PS2 Devil May Cry Devil May Cry 2 Devil May Cry 3 Dragon Quest VIII Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus Final Fantasy X-2 PS3 F.E.A.R. (I've seen the end, but that was just a friend beating it while I watched) Lair Xbox Jade Empire Morrowind Driv3r GTA: SA THPS3
  8. Pffft, I have trouble getting anything past one item from the fucking Hill Gigas. It took me almost ten minutes just to get the Ice Rod from Gizamaluke. Fucker. Speaking of Gizamaluke, I've just remembered something. I never really have taken notice of stuff like backdrops in FFIX, but the wall behind the characters in Gizamaluke's lair is fucking awesome, and I wish I could get an artists rendition of it to hang on my wall. Fucking awesome.
  9. So, some fucker overwrote my FFIX save file and I spent all day Sunday getting back to Chocobo Forest, getting the Chocographs, and going through Gizamaluke's Grotto. Good news is that I've still remembered to steal everything from every boss and fully intend to continue doing so.
  10. Speaking of IX, does anybody remember whether you can get the Caschusca (sp?) from Chocobo forest in Disc 1. I know I've got it from the forest before, but I'm unsure of whether it was in disc 1 or 2.
  11. I'm just waiting for you to catch up. I'm at the chocobo forest... and not wanting to look for chocographs. Also, for anyone interested in the nobles thing, getting 100 nobles impressed gives you 10,000 gil and allows Steiner to get a moonstone off of Brahne instead of the Silk Shirt. I remember way too much of this game.
  12. Yay!!! Turns out that I did get an extended warranty for my PS3, and EB is replacing it entirely!!! The only drawback is that I have to reinstall and update all the games and add the friends again.
  13. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. My PS3 died. It no longer reads any disc of any kind (that I have). I luckily kept my PS2 rather than trading it in, but now I can't play the 8 PS3 games that I have. It's a bitch too, cause it's like 3 months outside of warranty, and it's the 60GB SKU.

Actually, one other thing that annoyed me. Spoiler: Click here to viewSuki was fucking useless. USELESS! GET OFF MY TV SCREEN, BITCH! YOU WEREN'T NEEDED, YOU SHOULD HAVE FUCKED OFF WITH EVERYONE ELSE IN THE SOUTHERN RAIDERS. USELESS! Aside from that.

Spoiler: Click here to viewWow. Just amazing. I watched it last night and stayed up until 10 past 1 despite having to get up in a few hours to go to work, and I'm surprised I managed to sleep. We know that the Avatar team can do some amazing choreography in the battle scenes, but they really out did themselves this time. Aang vs Ozai never had a moment where I wasn't on the edge of my seat, Azula vs Zuko was a beautiful fight, and even Katara managed to look good against the Fire Lord (). I disagree with Azula having been screwed over though. They were building to this from the very beginning, and it worked really well. Azula losing her noodle was the perfect touch, just as she grasps her power firmly, she loses grip of her sanity. Brilliant. I don't care that Katara was the one to eventually defeat her. And the score. Breathtaking. Every scene has a track the fits perfectly. My one gripe was the ad breaks and the chapter breaks. Ugh, they kept interrupting the music. And they even managed to set up for a spin-off if they really want one (though I hope they don't, not if they can't keep the quality up anyway), with Zuko demanding to know where his mother was. Most importantly though, Avatar State Aang kicks all kinds of ass. For anyone who hasn't watched Avatar, you really need to, and right from the beginning.
  16. Wow. It's really that good. I have never gone to see a movie twice in the cinemas, but for this I did, and I am so glad. The second time around, I noticed all the little things, the foreshadowing, the little bits of dialogue that you don't really take in the first time because you're concentrating instead on what's actually occurring, all of it. A little thing I've noticed in this thread is that people have really only been commenting on performance and story. The costumes, I think deserve a huge amount of praise. Spoiler: Click here to viewIn the scene where the Joker is sitting in his cell, and he doesn't have his purple coat on (which in itself was awesome) and you can really fully see the rest of his get up, it just looked amazing and complete. The make-up was perfect, added a lot to his performance. Really well done. No matter where it is, the costume worked really well, even in the scene with the Joker hanging upside down. Also, the nurses outfit + the way he was trudging around in it = awesome. And now Harvey Dent. After he has become Two Face, and half of his suit mirrors the burns he has on his face. It could have been really cheesy, but they managed to pull it off perfectly, and it all came together to display the shattered man that he had become. Batman, most specifically the scene in Hong Kong where he jumps off the building, visually stunning. Fantastic work. My one gripe with the regular Batman costume however is the yellow buckle in the centre of the belt. I know that it's a part of the actual costume, but I think the belt and the overall outfit would look better if the belt just had a plain black clip. Now onto the performances, Heath Ledger is wow. Really. I've never seen a performance that convincing before. It was creepy how good he was at being psychotic. Spoiler: Click here to viewI think the "magic trick" will be remembered for a long time to come. It was so incredibly unexpected, and hilarious, and haunting all at once, and he delivered it so well. I'd have to say, the only part I would be disappointed in would be when they come up the elevator to kill Harvey in Bruce's penthouse. Just the entrance, everything else was spectacular. Eckhart deserves a fair bit of credit for his character too. I felt Dent was a little plain though, or at least until after Gordon was "killed". Of course, Eckhart couldn't be blamed for that. But after that point, his character really started to pick up. Great performance from him. And finally, onto sequel talk. Spoiler: Click here to viewI want the Joker in the next one. I really want the Joker in the next one, though I don't want his face to be seen. Just from behind, or even not at all, until an escape near the end where it's revealed who his next portrayal should be by. Maybe a few extra scars around his eyes and on his cheeks or something to kind of give a bit of a reason for him looking slightly different. Nothing too major, but they need to get someone with as spectacular control over their voice and facial expressions as Heath Ledger did, and preferably, someone who sounds similar, because I think the haunting thing about the Joker was his voice. The next villain, I think should be freeze. With someone like the Penguin or Catwoman playing second fiddle. Freeze could easily be portrayed as another soul corrupted by the damage caused by the Joker. Joker's threat of destroying the hospitals having caused his wife to be unplugged/blown up/whatever. Obviously there are quite a few kinks, though I'm sure something could be worked out. All in all, probably the most spectacular film experience I've ever had.

So I just found out that there's a Deltora Quest anime based on the 1st series of the books. Has anyone seen it/heard of it from a friend? Is it any good?
  18. Of course, cause then the illegible fuzz would be bigger! Also, I've just taken notice of the Wii-mote thing. So stupid, it wouldn't be needed if they configured the thing correctly in the first place.
  19. TV, so I can fucking read what NPC's are texting me!
  20. Give in and get a 360! Maybe, if Fable 2 looks good enough. But right now PS3 is still more ideal for me. I wants me Tekken 6, GT5 and a few others. And I can't buy a 360 as well atm cause I need the money to get me a shiny HD TV so I can actually read the text in some games (read: GTA).
  21. Ugh, if FFXIII is going to 360, then Infinite Undiscovery better be coming to the PS3.
  22. Spoiler: Click here to viewPfft, I did cry. And when Nina had her brain blown out, and then in the episode where Sloth and Lust died.... and then when Ed died. Jesus I'm a sop.

Nothing spectacular, nothing horrible. Let me down in the last few episodes though.
  24. 1. Fullmetal Alchemist - I finished rewatching FMA this morning and remembered why I fell in love with this show. I was actually on the verge of crying... but there were other people in the room, so I stopped myself. 2. Pokemon (Season 1) - This is the show that started me on anime in the first place... or at least, I think this was the one. I nominate only season 1 though, cause the rest were shite until the more recent ones. Season 1's biggest factor for me has to be that it tied in with the first movie, and the rest of the season's have just been merchandise movers. 3. Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 - This was the first anime I saw that wasn't targeted towards children (in the west) that piqued my interests from the get go. Yeah, there was Evangelion, but I saw it when I was like 10 years old, and didn't understand shit, that I still don't understand now. Fuck Evangelion. Yeah, I need to watch it again. >_> 4. Eureka Seven - Best Mecha anime I've seen yet. Near the end, where Renton and Eureka's story got repetitive, I kind of lost hope, but then the series picked up again and I was right back into it. 5. Ghost in the Shell: Innocence - This movie was beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen anything as visually stunning as GitS Innocence. The music, if you can stand shrill Japanese voices, is amazing as well. 6. Appleseed Saga (2004 - 2007) - These movie's are quite brilliant. The second moreso. Ghost in the Shell, but a bit easier to understand. 7. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Such an amazing series. It's choreography is amazing, but the terminology is a bit difficult to understand at times, which is why Appleseed got a spot higher. 8. Trigun - Such a fun show. I still haven't seen the last few episodes, though I have it on DVD now, so I shan't be holding off for too much longer. 9. Spirited Away - Amazing. Breathtaking. Beautiful. Awe Inspiring. Masterpiece. Those are just a few words that critics have used to describe Spirited Away. With descriptions such as those, why should I formulate my own opinion. 10. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust - Technically this is a sequel to the 1984 (I think) Vampire Hunter D movie. I prefer to think of it as stand alone, because the 1984 (Again, I think) movie was utterly abysmal. Bloodlust was much more plot driven, far more coherent, better drawn, better voiced, better everything. Trinity Blood could have made it on to this list too if it wasn't the same overall concept as Trigun with Vampires. Trigun came with more funny's though, so it won out.
