  1. She looks like a mixture of Rita Repulsa and the Green Ranger.. it's oddly arousing.
  2. I've seen at least 2 to 3 because the lineman held on too long and twisted or just dragged the guy down to turf. Like I said, I know it could cut down on those types of injuries by eliminating all chop blocks but now it's just going to lead to the lineman holding on longer/twisting/doing anything they can to keep the rushers from the quarterback and bring those injury possibilities into the fold.
  3. It will cut down on those possible injuries but now we will get even more holding penalties. I understand the need to try to take any "unnecessary" blocks or situations out of the game but man, they're really finding new ways to neuter this game. I wish they'd add penalties to wide receivers and defensive backs that always throw up their hands/call for a flag after every fucking pass attempt.
  4. Saw this earlier today and the fact it's McBride and Goggins has me giddy.
  5. Rumors are flying that Elway wants Kaepernick but he doesn't seem like his kind of QB at all. I wouldn't be surprised if tried to trade for Drew Brees or sign Ryan Fitzpatrick though. I feel like Fitzpatrick would be a perfect fit.
  6. They should just bring back Legends of the Hidden Temple. I'll take "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" back first, though.
  7. Billions is really, really good so far. Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti are fantastic.
  8. Binged Fuller House yesterday and after you get through the cameo/nostalgia fest of the first episode, I thought the season was really entertaining. Perfectly acceptable TV and would love another season, if they could get it.
  9. To be fair, The Purge Anarchy wasn't really about that stupid, Dorito eating couple but I get what you're saying. I actually liked Anarchy better but that was mainly because Frank Grillo killed that role. I loved both movies. I thought the original definitely could've been better with the concept of The Purge but I enjoyed it because it's not like it was a "rational" man or woman that let the guy in, knowing what the consequences were.. it was just a kid.
  10. So I've got tickets to see Deadpool tonight and I'm so fucking pumped.. I've been talking to myself inside my head all day and imagining little yellow boxes popping up beside me.
  11. Finally went through Making A Murderer and some of this stuff is just astounding. I really don't know if Steven Avery did it or not but from what was presented, I don't see how anyone could think he got his right to a fair trial. The fact that the same county that he lived in and was suing during that period of time was allowed on the premises, even after it was stated that they wouldn't be because of the conflict of interest is ridiculous. The fact that they allowed her family and ex-boyfriend past checkpoints and onto the Avery property to conduct a search, in what they thought to possibly be a crime scene, is fucking ludicrous. The fact that there was no investigation into her ex-boyfriend about the possibility of him or the family being the one(s) responsible for disappearances or foul play. I don't know about this whole police department conspiracy but there were way too many coincidences and different links to his first case that look really shady.
  12. So I finally got Netflix am halfway through Daredevil.. and this show is fucking amazing.
  13. .. That's actually not a bad outline for a sequel at all. It's definitely interesting.
  14. I thought that episode was amazing storytelling. They had to explain how Morgan went from a clearing nutjob to a zen master with bow staff skills. I love the Morgan character (mainly because of Lennie James great performance) but he is ultimately going to be responsible for a lot more death than saving lives.
  15. Still not ready to judge the performance based on the look just yet especially when you consider that most criminals/sociopaths aren't normally tattoo free or dress in swanky purple suits. If you're really going for an unhinged performance in a modern era, that look isn't too far off the mark from many of the violent criminals today. The small sample we got of him in the trailer made me very optimistic but then again, it's a trailer.
