I think Bryan Singer tends to do X-Men mostly. Each film tends to have a bit of an iffy moment (Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike being essentially throwaway characters in the original films and Emma Frost in First Class) but mostly it works really, really well so I have high hopes for this. I was worried about the film based on the set photos of Apocalypse but the trailer has pretty much cleared those. All I can so though is people had better bloody die in this film, they have to kill someone, the stakes should be incredibly high, higher than every before.

Yeah that took me out of the whole feel. I don't mind the CGI but the fact there are so many new characters in the film, unless it's 3-hours long, how on earth can you possibly hope to do it any form of justice? You've got to fit in Superman discovering Batman, Superman fighting with Batman, the reveal of why Batman wants to take out Superman, Lex Luthor's goal, the introduction of Wonder Woman, the introduction of Aqua Man (?), the "putting aside our differences" of Batman and Superman among so many other things. Marvel did it over multiple films yet DC are trying to fit ALL of that in one film? I actually really enjoyed Man of Steel and gave the ending the benefit of the doubt to see where they were going, and liked the initial idea of Batman vs. Superman with the idea it would lay the basic foundations of a Justice League film but I think I've lost all faith now.

I had completely ignored it because I just couldn't understand how it worked, it pissed me off I couldn't connect anything together. Then I discovered the floor pieces and my life changed. Played about 6 hours since yesterday and about 5 of those involved me building a 3-tier house in Sanctuary, setting up some basic power, scraping every tree in all of my settlements and starting building a similar building in Starlight Drive. Yeah, I'm obsessed with it now. I'm basically doing missions for the sole purpose of getting wood, steel and copper.

Star Trek: Bridge Commander. That game was great, I would love to see a further development of that game, arguably it's the closest to a "true" Star Trek game there has ever been.

Ok so Comixology has a sale on the Alias (Jessica Jones) comic series. Has anyone read them? They are MAX and I wanted to get some opinions on it before I do something stupid and buy all 28 issues despite having zero money.

So the most recent episode of SHIELD was fantastic. To be fair, that can easily be said about every episode since the fall of SHIELD. Now, bring on Jessica Jones, here we go.

As said above, horrendous loading times. Seriously, how is it possible/acceptable on next gen consoles that phenomenal games like the Witcher 3 takes forever to load a save game? Games without a proper single player. I tend to hate online play, can't stand it for the reasons where other people play like idiots, I want to play a game where everyone is playing properly, hence why I only like single player. The fact that Battlefront was so hyped and so anticipated but then it turns out it's basically COD in that it's a multiplayer game with a token single player campaign tacked on. Personal preference but I hate it.

Planning to catch up with SHIELD tonight and then start Jessica Jones afterwards. I'm really excited for it, if it's even half as good as Daredevil it will be fantastic. I wasn't sure about it originally, wasn't sure how it'd translate but this was when it was first announced, then Daredevil and the trailers really put me at ease.

Really looking forward to Jessica Jones. If it's even half as good as Daredevil, I'll be happy. What is everyone's opinion on Supergirl? I haven't watched any of it because I'm afraid it'll be too much like Flash and later-Arrow which seemed to have massively jumped the shark on putting every villain ever in.

I was convinced I would wait until about December or late this month to pick it up. Then I went to the Xbox store and bought it at lunch. Idiot. Anyway, hoping to play a few hours tonight at release time, which would be nice but unfortunately I've managed to see enough spoilers (the archived review posted earlier has a pretty biggish one) to have annoyed me but not put me off.

What console are you on? It seems to be centred on Xbox One and especially if the creation has a lot of logos

I think I'll enjoy MyCareer mode if I use a CAW of a real wrestler, just can't get invested with what is essentially a generic, average CAW. Got a good Alberto Del Rio, could be fun, or perhaps one of the multitude of Jeff Hardy's, or actually, probably more likely, CM Punk.

Either I never managed to download the patch yesterday or Community Creations download time is still atrocious on Xbox One. Took about 4/5 minutes to download a Hulk Hogan and then even longer than that for a Sasha Banks and that didn't even finish downloading at all. That said, 2K are already light years ahead of THQ in their response time to issues, it would be months before any patches were issued.
