  1. Movies I've watched this week: Dodgeball (Twice) - 8/10 - I love this movie, sue me.. 50 First Dates - 7/10 - I've watched it one full time and I caught parts of it a couple other times on HBO... The Mummy - 6.5/10 - I remember I used to really like this movie, but sitting through it now is pretty hard, especially when it was a lot longer than I remembered it being...and it takes forever to get to the good parts. European Vacation - 7/10 - Actually my first time seeing this one, which is pretty surprising consider how much I like the others. Singing in the Rain - 5/10 - Um, yeah I'm not too big on musicals, but I watched this one in class and it was alright, it's a classic of course, but it's just not a movie for this day and time. Since it is a classic I can't give it a horrible rating despite my dislike for musicals. The only musicals I liked have been Little Shop of Horrors (which I actually love), Grease, and actually West Side Story... Welcome to Mooseport - 4/10 - Meh with a side of blah. I laughed once or twice I guess. I think that covers everything...I watched the ending of Fifth Element on Sunday, but not enough to say I watched it lol..love the movie though.
  2. So far, of those I have seen I, Robot, TDAT, 50 First Dates, and The Village. I actually liked I, Robot. I realize it wasn't a masterpiece of cinema or anything, but it was enough to keep me entertained. Of course, I actually am a Will Smith fan.. I don't remember how I originally voted, but of those 50 First Dates would be my favorite...I just rewatched it Sunday and remembered how much I originally liked it. TDAT was long and boring considering it was a disaster movie, and The Village was alright for me, but I was expecting something scarier and I too had it figured out pretty early.
  3. I loved Dodgeball And if I remember correctly, Eternal Sunshine got a 9.5 from him and after watching it he said it already wrapped up number one from him and the rest were fighting for number two...atleast I'm pretty sure that was Numbahs... Wait, was that a spoiler?
  4. Personally, I'd like to know who thought that Ashlee Simpsons performing at ANY sporting event's halftime show was a good idea. I don't know about you, but when I think of sports fans and Ashlee Simpson fans (and yes, believe it or not some people actually like her music...I know a few unfortunately)...I don't think of compatability.
  5. I enjoyed Walking Tall, I believe I gave it a 6/10 - thought it was a pretty average action flick that got an extra point or so for The Rock's performance in it. I agree that The Rock could be the next big action star, but I'm not too sure about how well his upcoming movies are going to fair. I saw The Forgotten as well, and agreed with most of the stuff said here as well. I was pretty bored by it, as it was predictable. The people I saw the movie with loved it though...go figure. I think I gave it like a 5/10 or so as well.

    Monopoly.

I don't even know if I've ever finished a game of Monopoly...everytime I play someone always gets mad and we end up throwing stuff. That and everytime I would play there would be rampant cheating, which made things more fun when everyone was trying to sneak stuff past everyone else. I remember once I kept stealing this one person's money every other turn, then they were confused when they went bankrupt out of nowhere.
  7. 40 Days and 40 Nights - 5/10 Average teen flick that was funny at some parts, but also completely predictable.
  8. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
  9. Mortal Kombat - 6/10 I too caught Mortal Kombat last night. I've always enjoyed it, although the ony thing I wished the movie did was hive Johnny Cage a little more since he was my favorite. Cage shoulda fought Reptile since Liu was gonna get Shang Tsung for the big final battle. But that's just my Cage bias talking. Plus Sonya Blade is hot at the end in that costume Tsung made her wear.

    Jet's New Song

Jet has a very strange affect on me. When I first heard both Are you gonna be my girl and Cold Hard Bitch, I didn't like them at all. As a matter of fact I couldn't stand Cold Hard Bitch. But the more I heard them, the more I liked them to the point where I enjoy both now (although are you gonna be my girl did wear out its welcome on the radio). Haven't heard their new one I don't think...wonder if i would be the same story.

    "3"

I liked it, but it was too short and left too much out, but that's about what you an expect from a made for TV movie. They could have gone more into the rough relationship between Dale and Dale Jr., even though they did show a couple of their disputes. They didn't go into DEI or anything like that either. But for what it was, it was good. Maybe if it was a miniseries they coulda got everything in, lol.
  12. Yeah, most of my list sucks... 1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind 2. Friday Night Lights 3. Spider-Man 2 4. Ocean's Twelve 5. Shrek 2 6. I, Robot 7. Starsky & Hutch 8. Dodgeball 9. Anchorman 10. The Girl Next Door Disappointing Saved! -Not the worst movie I saw this year, but it was probably the most disappointing because I had such high expectations of it and thought it was going to be a really funny movie, and it let me down majorly. Others include: The Village (which I still enjoyed, but it just wasn't what I hoped) and Mean Girls (seems like everyone else liked it and I just don't see it). Next Year's Film Batman Begins, I guess. DVD release Not...sure...
  13. Mine also would be California Love
  14. I can't help but shed a tear at these walks down memory lane. I will admit I never really watched A LOT of Pete & Pete, but I do remember it was good from what I saw. The one episode I do remember was a fourth of July episode. But I would never miss an episode of the original All That, Keenan and Kel, and the various gameshows mentioned. Nick just hasn't been the same without these great shows. I also remember Clarissa Explains it All. Ah them memories...
  15. Walking Tall - 6/10 Nothing terrible, but nothing too memorable. Slightly above average action flick with some good lines thrown in, although I never can believe the antagonist ever stood a chance against The Rock.
  16. Elf - 7/10: Good clean fun. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - 9.5/10 Saw it for the second time today and it was just as good. I better be getting it for Christmas is all I have to say.
  17. Christmas with the Kranks - 3/10 It's like a review of it I read saying something along the lines of avoiding the Kranks would be the best gift you could get your family and friends. The movie might have been a little better had it ended 30 minutes before it did, but alas it went on forever and a day. Shoulda saw the Incredibles instead, but oh well.
  18. The fact that it is a black character is indeed important to the story, and I have no problem playing as one. Personally I'd prefer an Italian character over any other race.
  19. I've only done three missions...I am sad.
  20. GTA: San Andreas the past two days 10/10 Can't play it anymore though since I'm back home from college for the weekend and its my roommate's game. I think I'm gonna be playing some MGS over the weekend because after reading up on MGS 3, I've had the sudden urge to play it.
  21. I was doing the first mission (yeah that's right the FIRST mission) and I kinda lost my guys, but I ended up making the guys chasing me blow up their car, allowing me to find my guys and get back home safely without having to worry about being shot at.
  22. Well my roommate just bought the game today, so I'll just play it whenever I get a chance to. 'Tis the cheap way.
