  1. So I was looking at TVGuide.com and saw that the Drew Carey Show was coming on tonight. Now I knew that new episodes had been coming on this summer, but I haven't really watched but a few because the show has sucked since Kate left. But I saw that the 9:30 episode is the series finale. And it just made me realize how screwed over the Drew Carey has been. This show used to be one of ABC's top comedies and now the series finale is coming on and I never saw one promo for it. Sure the show doesn't have the audience it used to and the quality is not good anymore, but they should still atleast promote the final show so old fans could come in just to see the show go to its much-needed grave. The Drew Carey Show is a perfect example of a show that should have went out on top. It's sad really to see what the show became. But I'll be catching the series finale just to watch one of my former favorite shows go down in a blaze of...well not glory.
  2. Good Will Hunting - 9.5/10 Caught this movie tonight on ABC Family and I wasn't sure how to rate this movie. I almost wanted to give it a 10 because I really liked it, but I don't like handing out 10s. So for now I'm going with 9.5 because I liked basically everything about this movie. The scene with Robin Williams talking to Matt Damon on the park bench was very powerful and probably my favorite part.
  3. The Whole Nine Yards - 4/10 Not even the beautiful Amanda Peet could save this one. Really not that interesting and not that funny either. The Whole Ten Yards is definitely not on my "movies to watch" list after seeing the original.
  4. Without a Paddle - 7/10 Some movies I like the first time I see them, only to watch them again later on and realize how stupid they really were. I hope this isn't one such movie because this movie kept me entertained for the entire hour and a half, which is not something I can say about a lot of movies. Sure the story may not be the best, but I was entertained and that's all that matters to me.

Anyone have any info on who Alicia Keys' special superstar guest is going to be?

The fact that they were working the crowd and they were mad crazy doesn't mean the song is good, it just means that they're good at working the crowd. Besides, the crowd has been alive basically all night from what I've seen.

Hmm better than Kanye West? I think not. Kanye West has been the best part of the evening so far. On the flipside though, I kinda like the Lean Back remix with Eminem in it.
  8. Wow, I wish my local cinema had that many screens. But of the ones playing I'd say Collateral or The Bourne Supremacy are your best bets. Although I heard The Notebook might be a good date movie if that's what you're looking for.
  9. What a Girl Wants - 5/10 It gets a 5 based solely on the fact that Amanda Bynes is hot in it...making it atleast worth watching for that alone. But don't expect much else.
  10. Matchstick Men - 8.5/10 Saw it for the first time a couple weeks ago when I rented it, liked it enough to buy it yesterday on DVD. Like I said when I watched Honeymoon in Vegas, I've always liked Nicholas Cage and Allison Lohman is hot and its crazy how she can pull off playing a 14 year old when she's 24.
  11. Honeymoon in Vegas - 6/10 Nothing better to do tonight so I watched this. It may not be the smartest movie or even the funniest, but it was decent enough. Plus I've always liked Nicholas Cage and I thought he was good in this. Some good one liners here and there. Sarah Jessica Parker's character got on my nerves though. Loved the soundtrack of Elvis songs as well. But the Flying Elvises was the highlight. Sure there's better movies out there, but if you've got nothing better to do on a rainy night like it is here, this is a good movie to sit down and watch.
  12. Music - Lohan, though both suck as is the popular opinion. Actress - Lohan, while I didn't like Mean Girls as much as most people, it was still so much better than Cheaper by the Dozen. Hotness - Lohan, hands down. Its a clean Lohan sweep. Now if only she would reward my favoritism by coming to my bedroom...I'm waiting for you!
  13. Ace Ventura: Pet Dective - 9/10 I absolutely love this movie and was able to catch it last night instead of going to see a movie after my girlfriend cancelled on me (). I like both Ace Ventura movies with this one squeaking ahead by a little in which one I like more.
  14. This is what I could come up at the moment...may change later. In no particular order Boy Meets World The Simpsons X-Files Smallville Family Matters Full House 3rd Rock From the Sun Drew Carey Show (before Kate left) Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Just Shoot Me
  15. Phenomenon - 5/10 I watched it for the first time in a while last night, and it just wasn't as good as I used to think it was. I remember I used to think it was really good, but last night it just felt boring and long...but maybe its because I was tired and ready for to call it a night.
  16. I was thinking he may have talked to her parents about her, but I would think her parents died too since the little girl was in a car and she certainly wasn't driving herself. The morgue thing I could live with believing...and if her parents were in the car as well, maybe he talked to her friends or other family members or something. Of course that's looking pretty far at that one line, so it probably was just a big screw up by the people who did the movie.
  17. I always prefered the college episodes...but the high school ones were good too. The middle school days weren't my favorite, but if I have some money to spare I think I may have to pick it up anyway.
  18. Looking for an Echo - Some people may like this movie, but I didn't. I was just completely bored by it and I couldn't stand the music since I've never been a fan of "doo-wop." Would have turned it off if it wasn't for the fact that nothing else was on. 1/10
  19. I can't remember exactly, but did he say it was hers? Maybe he just bought a necklace that had her name. But if he did say it was hers...your guess is as good as mine!
  20. The Village - 7/10 **Semi-spoilers** Once I got over the fact that I was disappointed from the lack of being scared or even creeped out (though a couple parts did make me jump I must admit), I was able to enjoy the movie for what it really was and not what the advertisements make you believe. It didn't take me long to figure out the twists since I knew that there would be one, so I was thinking while watching. I thought Bryce Dallas Howard was great in the movie and she has a very bright future ahead of her, and Adrien Brody did well with what he was given. The movie itself felt a lot shorter than it really was, which I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. But all in all it was worth the 7.50 (well $15 for my company of the evening).
  21. I, Robot - 8.5/10 - Just got back from the theater tonight and I really enjoyed it. I've always been a fan of Will Smith's (well accept Men in Black II) and I thought he did a good job in this movie. The only problem I have is that the movie is set only 30-some years from now (don't remember exactly) and I don't see us being THAT technologically advanced by then...but then it is just a movie so I try not to think too hard about that. Very enjoyable action flick that was more than just a shoot em up.
  22. Starsky & Hutch - 8/10 One of my favorite movies of 2004 so far. I just recenlty bought it on DVD and have watched it a couple times since then.
