There was a news report not too long ago that the FCC has lightened up on what words are acceptable for TV and radio, it has nothing to do with this just this show. It does have to do with the timeslot they're on however, if South Park was a Prime Time show they still wouldn't be able to get away with it.

Don't know if it's been posted in here yet or not (it's a long thread, leave me alone) but Nickelodeon will be bringing back programming such as "Freaks and Geeks", "Undeclared", "All That", "Rugrats", "Kenan and Kel", "The Adventures of Pete and Pete", "The Amanda Show", and "Clarissa Explains It All" as part of a 90s block late at night on it's TeenNick channel. http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/03/10/teennick-goes-retro-with-90s-programming-exclusive/ and my source for "Freaks and Geeks" and "Undeclared" is the fact that I just saw a commercial for them. Whether those two will be apart of the same block as the other shows, I'm not entirely sure.

After the whole Terriers thing, if Sons of Anarchy doesn't get another season after 4 then I'm done with FX

MLB gives out end of the year awards for a reason, so that THEY can determine who the best players were. The All-Star game is for fans and to bring in ratings in a fun environment. And I'm sorry, but Derek Jeter is a future Hall of Famer and the biggest SS name in the game since Ripken. If the fans want him in there, he's gonna be in, because he'll make (a bigger majority) of the fans want to watch. Asdrubal Cabrera is one of the best shortstops in baseball this season, and even I as an Indians fan can admit that Jeter should get in before him, because it's about the fans and bringing in the ratings. As long as Cabrera gets more recognition in the end of the year awards than Jeter, it's perfectly fine with me.

Or just change the channel when he's up to bat. I find it hard to even imagine a situation in which you would be absolutely forced into watching him hit.

As opposed to the "it's not stupid because I want to see it"? I feel like if you don't want to watch someone be in the all-star game, the better option rather than complaining about it endlessly would be to you know, not watch it. Just my thoughts.

Being "clean" shouldn't be applied to any conversation involving college football right now, especially since this year you had the Heisman trophy winner (and ultimately the man who was the reason his team won the National Title) being proven he took money to play for Auburn, and yet nothing happened because there was somehow not enough proof. The NCAA is just a joke right now, in my opinion.

I'm bumping this- OSU head coach Jim Tressel has resigned as head football coach at Ohio State University. Story is breaking on ESPN now as I'm watching it. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=6606999 As a diehard Buckeyes fan, I'm devastated by this. I mean, I figured it was coming with all of the trouble he's been in lately, but wow. End of an era in Columbus, OH. All of his digressions aside, he was one of the best coaches we've ever had here (obviously not THE best), and I'm REALLY worried about the future of our football program.

Ugh. So today, my 360 decided it didn't want to read discs at all. I've been having an off and on problem with it for a while now, where it wouldn't read a disc, but after I opened and closed the tray a few times it would work. Today, I tried that with about 5 different games, opening and closing the tray about 20 times each, and nothing at all. I found a refurbished 360 on Amazon for $130 that comes with a 1 year warranty, and to send my old one XBox into repair to Microsoft was gonna be about $120 with shipping. So, I've decided to just go ahead and buy another 360. I'll soon probably have two 360s that don't work. <3 Microsoft.

I really like cut days, and future 1sts. It makes me happy that those will be in Madden 12. I never understood why trading future 1sts got taken out of the game, and cut days seems like a very good feature.

I'm looking for a 1996 scenario, preferably in May during the beginning of the nWo. I've googled and searched the thread and couldn't come up with anything, but apologies in advance if I overlooked it.

THE John Stamos is now in talks to replace Sheen on Two and A Half Men. Seriously, the timeline of the events that have occurred with his life in the past few days is something straight out of a movie. A movie that I would see at the theaters half a dozen times, then buy on DVD for the extra features and outtakes.

I'm just wondering how the hell you can explain having Jamaal Harris, Thomas Jones, Jerome Harrison, and Jonathan Stewart on your roster when Chris Johnson wasn't picked? What the fuck were you thinking when picking those other 4 over him?

Forrest Gump. I've tried to watch it numerous times, I love Tom Hanks and it's my girlfriend's favorite movie. But every time, it nearly puts me to sleep. Just the overall story arc is uninteresting to me, and most of the characters seem plain and boring. Not to mention the fact that it goes on about 40 minutes too long. I don't know if I just haven't been in the right mood each time, or if it's just one of those that I'll never enjoy.

My best friends are in a band, played 3-4 shows already and are about to play in FUSE's Slave to the Metal Tour where people from Roadrunner and Metalblade Records will be there, along with Julia from FUSE. It's pretty exciting, that they're doing as well as they are drawing crowds out and putting on a good performance live. Alright, so, this may or may not be a common problem, but whenever I try to do anything in Photoshop, it gives me an error saying my Scratch Disks are full. I went and edited the scratch disks, but no matter what settings I change them to either it won't work at all, or Photoshop will work fine for a little while and then decide that the scratch disks are full again. What do I do? Is there a way to clear the scratch disks? Blah, I need help. (If you can't tell, I'm very inexperienced when it comes to Photoshop. So be gentle if there is a simple solution. )
