Also, 5 minutes from Hollywood: Gail Simone did Deadpool's first series, from #65 to #69, then Agent X #1-7 and #13-15. And I concor with GoGo, her run is awesome as well, it had slipped my mind when I made the initial recommendation.

I think Deadpool was the first major comic she wrote, too.

Cheers guys. I picked up Dark Reign Deadpool versus Thunderbolts as it was advertised on my Comics app. Going to get the Secret Invasion tie-in as it ties in with that and the Secret Avengers/Illuminati stuff I've just finished. Will definitely check out Cable & Deadpool.

I didn't think you were much of a fan of that album for some reason.

I got into them a bit after the hype died away. Always consider them part of a sort of golden age of British Alternative, amongst hellisforheroes, Reuben, Inme, Vex Red etc. even early Feeder I guess.
