  7. Happy Birthday Pudd'n. You're full of infinite awesomeness!!!!

  8. I heard they have these new fangled traps for wild packs of random key strokes. You really look that.

  9. I've recently stumbled upon Madeleine Peyroux and she quickly became a favorite. Then I heard her cover of Elliott Smith's Between the Bars and she gained a fan.
  10. I generally hate remakes as a whole, unless the original was shit. That said, being a fan of House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects, I had very high hopes for Zombie's Halloween. I even came off my "GRRR REMAKES" (Michael Bay anyone?) bandwagon to tout my hopes for this 'reimagining'. I really freaking liked the first half. It was great, the development of Michael's character really appealed to me. The cameo's kept me hunting and I was having a great time. Had he continued in this vein, I would have been all "RAWR ZOMBIE", but alas the last half was nearly a shot for shot remake. This ruined the movie for me. It made it feel like two completely different movies.
  11. I finally got around to watching the americanized version of Funny Games. I got it three weeks ago from Netflix and couldn't work up any enthusiasm for it. After watching it, I now wish I could have that time back. I am well aware what the director was supposed to be doing, I just felt nothing at all. It was just blah for me. It did not inspire even mild dislike and far from hatred, just blah. There was nothing mildly good about it. Nothing horribly bad. Just blahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
  12. I agree with the vocal coach thing, but I also read an article and have heard several radio programs about this woman Susan Carr. theartofscreaming.com She teaches singers how to scream and save their voices. She actually has a video on sell.
  13. As Essa said, the ending is different. In fact it is way different from the novella. The novella ended with a feeling of hope and the movie..........well................... not so hopeful. It was changed with King's blessing. I agree it was one of the best adaptations of a King story. My favorite is still "Stand By Me" from his novella "The Body, though I've had friends argue that the Shawshank Redemption and the Green Mile are the best.
  14. Nekromantix-has quite a few that would fit the bill. The best being Trick or Treat. 15. You failed! Damn X.....I'm trying to help you here by roleplaying.

  16. I like Hollywood Undead, but I have to be in the mood for it. Sometimes they run the risk of their songs sounding the same. They've always struck me as what would happen if ICP and Linkin Park had a baby.
  17. Shut me up - Mindless Self Indulgence
  18. You're now unbanned and I never got a chance to hand out all these "Free Hbob" tee shirts I made. :(

  19. This is farther back than 8 yrs, but one of the best riff's I've heard in my lifetime (other than Welcome to the Jungle), hands down, is Marilyn Manson's The Beautiful People.
  20. There is hope guys, when you have kids. I have spent hours playing cars, army wars, and legos with my son. Now that he is grown, I do this with my godchildren. I have a landry basket in the hall closet full of soap bubbles, (some in my purse too, because they are just fun)water guns (keep two in my car just in case), action figures, matchbox cars, colors and coloring books, ball and jaxs and marbles. Also I have loads of board games. Sometimes I get toys out just because. What I love to do is get out my Pez collection and have Pez gang wars. The Pooh Clan vs DC Superheroes! I really should film this and put this on youtube.
  21. I thought of another. Christian Bale axe'n his friend while "Hip to be Square" is playing. Wonderful! www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfr9xeA7nCc
  22. Shaun of the Dead, the scene with the Queen song "Don't Stop Me Now" and them bashing the zombie.
