    OK GO

    :lmao:
  2. Add me to the list of folks who have something for Blunt's big single.
  3. GRIFT

    South Park

I think Matt and Trey put it eloquently and continue to prove that they might just be the only level headed people left in Hollywood in the PC generation.
  4. I've shagged hotter girls than Bilson... but seeing the darling Portman up there makes me happy.
  5. Rachel Weisz makes Grifter moist.
  6. Superman by Goldfinger brings me back a long ways... Goldfinger ruled.
  7. I was listening to the radio the other day and Got You Where I Want You by the Flys came on, followed by High With My Friends by Feeder and the one two combo really pulled me back to highschool. Are their any songs that have a similar effect on you guys?
  8. I love the Blood Brother's. I think I heard that they are coming somewhere near me with Coheed pretty soon.
  9. I am psyched for this as I've grown up with Pearl Jam. I enjoyed their last original release and thought that it was given a bad rap from some reviewers. In any event I am looking forward to this, although I do hate it when band's release self titled albums baring their debut. It is just a pet peve.
  10. I loved him, but I will admit that I thought he was already dead.
  11. Wow, two of the shittiest figures to rise out of pop culture in the 90's are going to have sex with each other.
  12. I am not a huge Bob Rock fan so seeing someone else at the helm interests me, even if it is for Metallica.
  13. That reminds me of that old Jericho commentary: If Silver King wins a few more matches, he'll get upgraded to Gold King. Or something to that effect.
  14. Johnny Cash's version of We'll Meet Again... presuming I die before my significant other.
  15. If you like Radiohead you'll probably love a little group called Clann Zu. With an ensemble featuring violin and keys, along with a traditional four piece setup, Clann Zú create beautiful dark melodies ranging from the intimate and sparse, to the huge and dramatic. The bilingual vocals (Irish and English) of Waterford born, Declan de Barra are intense and passionate, with lyrical themes running from dispossession, cultural reclamation and resistance, to hopelessness and desperation. Although drama can often be a simile for pretension, Clann Zú execute it genuinely and gracefully, managing to create honest and punishingly beautiful songs. Their website is Clannzu.com, and they have a few downloads available on the site, but they just samples. Some favorite tracks are: Words for Snow The Sailor Who Fell From Grace with the Sea 5000 More One Bedroom Apartment I strongly recommend checking them out.
  16. Bruce should have won (yes I am biased), but I am glad Legend didn't take it. I think that song is grossly overrated.
  17. Oh and Tom Waits... lots of Tom Waits starting with the early Island Records stuff following right through to his most recent releases.
  18. That little 'Yesterday' number was nice. ... and about the Funk thing, I mean that he puts other people over like crazy and in doing so gets himself back out there. The man is constantly giving someone the rub. Oh and Brooooooooooooooooooooooose! This is pretty much why I am watching tonight.
  19. Say Anything... Is a Real Boy. DO IT NOW.
  20. Santana is music's Terry Funk.
