  1. It is funny that this is popping up because I've watched a different Rocky movie everynight this week (AMC has Rocky week this week) and I had JUST read this script last night. I think the first two were classic. The third was a little far off. The fourth was ok. The fith was atrocious. But reading this... I think it could be an interesting take on the already iconic character.
  2. Anyone remember the Magic Meat Ball episode of Rocko?
  3. I love Lewis Black but Carlin > Black. Anyone who says other wise speaks herecy. Blasphamous, treacherous, herecy.
  4. I saw him recently and he did alot off of Wide Awake, but he definately hit alot of the older classics. It is bizarre but the guy has been making records since he was in highschool... Good records. The man has all the reviewers and a personal endorsment from Bruce Fucking Springsteen as one of the most influential song writers, and the voice of this generation... I wish the Boss would endorse me.
  5. Rocko > You. Seriously, why aren't all the episodes on DVD? I need that.
  6. If there were a movie about my life, young me would be played by Morgan Freeman... Yes I realize that I am white, and he is far too old to play young me, but makeup has come LIGHTYEARS ahead of where it was years ago.

    News on Miramax

Do you think that this means Troy Duffy will be coming off the blacklist any time soon?
  8. Hmm people finding God when all else has faded from their lives? You know that doesn't sound so much like a last ditch effort to get the spotlight, as it sounds reasonable. Imagine you loose everything you have in your life. My guess is you search for a crutch to get you through the pain and help you rebuild. For some people religion is that crutch. I say we all just sit back respect each others superstitions and let celebrities be.

  10. Well, Tarantino has a knack for casting so I wouldn't doubt him. I bet he will be able to pull something new out of the Waterboy.
  11. Bruce Springsteen And The E-Street Band: Live 1975-85 Bruce Springsteen And The E-Street Band: Live In New York Pearl Jam, any of the 72 bootleg styled double discs they put out Dave Matthews Band Listener Supported

  13. 'Is a dream a lie if it don't come true; or is it something worse?'
  14. Tyler Mane is with the WWE now?! Since when!?
  15. ... Erm, not really, since it's clearly inspired by Rashomon. Also, it's better than any other movie on that group. So the top five pretty much consists of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Spider-Man 2, Shrek 2, Kill Bill vol. 2, and something else that's slipping my mind. ←
  16. Comparing Hero to Rashomon is BLASPHOMOUS HERACY!
  17. So I went to the Cd release show for In the Arms of Providence. In The Arms Of Providence swims in the vein of Glassjaw and Every Time I Die while integrating the band’s own experimental, emotional, hugging and moshing atmosphere. During the very last song of their set, the leadsinger came out onto the floor where the pit was and everything slowed down and as the song hit a real emotional point. Suddenly he stopped singing and he looked right at me and said, 'When this song breaks out, kick my ass.' Then turned to someone else and said the same. Once the song broke, the entire pit imploded on him, and it was chaos. I ended up knocking him down, but then I picked him up and he literally finished the set with me holding him up and singing as people nailed us. It was such an intense moment. After the song finished he was like, 'That was fucking beautiful.' Hugged me and then the show ended. It was pretty god damn cool.
  18. Coheed and Cambria... but that is just on this board. You guys seem to hate Claudio!
  19. The remix of magic carpet ride that was in Go would be great...
  20. 'Your mom goes to college' is without a doubt the best line. It is so subtle and stupid.
  21. Where did you shoot the Nebercannotbeassedtofigureoutthecorrectspellingezzer scenes?
  22. I rented it the other day and it was great. The humor was on the level of Super Troopers, and was just as pleasing. I loved his explanation on why he wouldn't join med school.
  23. The movie was great if you got what they were going for, but if you didn't it sucked harder than Liberache in a bath house. But the best part of the movie is the delivery of the lines.
  24. Spacey as Luthor rocks. I really like that choice as I consider Spacey to be one of the most unique actors around.
