I got some of the people from my other message board to bump me up to 4th, but the last time that happened, the guy I bumped out of 4th regained it with like a 100-200 vote lead ahead of me. I wonder if that's going to happen again. Plus, I don't know what's up with the whole zero vote reset as it was supposed to happen already. Maybe they're doing it internally and not letting any of us know. Or they probably just didn't care. EDIT - Just as I got done with this post, I checked my status and I've been bumped back down to 5th with the other guy having 10 votes over me.

There's been a pretty big change...again. Tomorrow is the first day of Round 3. But what they're doing is that they're restarting everyone's vote count to ZERO, giving everyone a fresh start. So I really need as many votes as possible in the next few days. I already told the other message board that's been giving me the bulk of the votes and have been plugging the crap out of it on MySpace.

That's awesome Plankton. Actually, I'm from Napoleon but I moved to Toledo almost a year ago because, quite frankly, Napoleon sucks. BG is pretty nice though. It's small but there's tons of hot college chicks so that makes up for it.

If this isn't cool to do, feel free to take this down or move it to the appropriate area. Either way, I'm trying to get on the second season of VH1's The Pickup Artist. For those of you that haven't seen it, basically they take 8 guys who have no game with women and are taught how to pick up girls. However, one is eliminated each week until one is left as the ultimate Pickup Artist. I realize that I'm not really known to you guys beyond being the guy who does "that one WWE diary" but if there was any guy who was perfect for this show, it's me. I've only had a few relationships and find it very hard to get girls attracted to me. I saw this last season and immediately wanted to be on it. And this is coming from a guy who can't stand reality shows so that's kinda saying something. Now, I have my chance. Basically, VH1 is doing a MySpace style site where whoever wants to be on the show gets to put up a profile with pics, videos, blogs and get voted on. Surprisingly enough, I got a lot of votes, mostly coming from another message board that I called my former home where an epic thread about my virginity raised me to legendary status there. Enough votes that have gotten me to 5th place out of I don't even know how many. I didn't really intend to bring this up to you guys until later on in the game, at least not until Round 2 (which starts tomorrow). But since production has been bumped up, the schedule has been sped up as well. Originally, Round 2 was supposed to take 2 weeks and then Round 3 the week after that. Now, they've made it so that Round 2 ends Wednesday and Round 3 ends next Saturday, meaning that they've condensed 3 weeks of voting and such into one. What this means for you? Basically, I need all the votes I can get. Right now, the top two have me beat by a considerable margin (I'm talking over 15,000 votes here which makes me kinda suspicious) so I don't expect to get the top spot. But even though the top spot gets an automatic spot on the show, producers are taking the top 20 into consideration for other spots. So I'm hoping that I'll be able to get the attention of the producers for another spot on the show, not to mention the off chance of me winning by default (the two sweetest words in the English language). I'm really hoping that I have a chance here. If you want to vote, go to my page HERE(!!!) and click vote in the upper-left portion of my profile underneath the header. But before you do, I have to warn you that the site is broken as crap. Most often, you'll click to vote only to be told that you can only vote every 24 hours. This has become normal from what I've heard. Nevertheless, the votes count...somehow. Don't ask me. Half of the time I can't even log in. If you want to be more interactive and add comments and such, you'd have to make a profile and considering how broken the page is, I can't say I'd recommend it unless you really care. Since I realize a good portion of you guys are from the UK, I'm not even sure if you've seen the show so it probably doesn't matter to you. Like I said, if this isn't cool for me to plug myself here or if you guys haven't seen the show or even if you don't really give a damn, that's fine. But I do appreciate any help you can send along. And yes, I realize I am opening up myself to a lot of ridicule here. I'm fine with that. I wouldn't have taken part in a 100+ page dealing about my virginity and my inability to hook up with girls if I didn't think I could handle it.

I remember hearing when The Crusade was coming out and Trivium saying that it was going to sound like Metallica, I joked saying "So, are all the lyrics going to be 'WHOOOOAAAA' and 'YEEAAAAAH'?" Then I heard the chorus for "We Are The Fire" and cried. Also, you describing A7X as glam-influenced makes me cry, mostly because it's true. I miss old school A7X.

That's not very weird. In fact, I remember when the hype machine for City of Evil started, everyone was calling A7X the next Guns N' Roses. What was weird was I listened to the album and didn't get the correlation whatsoever. Of course, I'm not that big of a Guns N' Roses fan (I remember my older sisters loving them and even as a little kid wondering what the big deal was) so that could probably be explained right there.

I freakin' love this band and am waiting for their new album that I pre-ordered to get here. Everyone else has been getting their pre-orders early but not me. I can understand the hate for their lyrics. All in all, I don't even listen to the lyrics that much. But the music is catchier than anything I've ever heard. What I don't understand is all this "mainstream hype" you guys are talking about. Maybe it's because I live in NW Ohio and all everyone listens to here is rap and country but the only people I know that listen to MSI are because I've introduced them to it. Though I just found out a few weeks ago that their hot bassist married MCR's singer. I didn't even think the guy liked chicks.

It's shocking that this movie would've come close to Best Picture status as, with all the cultural references, I'm sure people watching it five years from now wouldn't know what the fuck the characters are talking about.

I think Ellen Page has Molly Holly Syndrome, meaning while she may not be hot, she's cute and thus she's more approachable than other hot girls and thus you believe you actually have a chance. If you liked the Cracked.com article, check out Something Awful's version of the script: "Quotey". With all of that said, you can't pay me enough money to watch that movie.

I've wanted to pick up Armageddon for a long while now, especially since it became a Greatest Hit. But I haven't played many fighting games in a while either. Actually, I don't even think I've played an MK game since MK4 for the N64.

Really, why didn't they just make a straight-forward DC fighting game? Aside from a few key original characters, people only really gave a shit about them because they ripped off limbs and set them on fire. Take that away and you just have your basic generic character archetypes. It would be one thing if the MK creators set out to do a DC fighting game and then stuck some MK characters as hidden unlockables but having a DC/MK crossover when no one really wanted one in addition to taking away the very things the characters are known for seems just really unnecessary and grasping for straws to me.

I like how it's SpikeTV's Mike Tenay, as if he did anything else for the network.

After seeing these, I'm wondering if you could possibly try something else with Kane. If it can be done, I'd like to see Kane in a hooded cloak, much like the one Jigsaw wears in the Saw movies. If not, it's no big deal, I just thought it would be something cool for my version of Kane in my game/diary.

Return of the Jedi - Ditto. The Phantom Menace - Just saw a few months ago. Attack of the Clones - Saw opening night in theater. Revenge of the Sith - Haven't seen yet.

Right now, I've been listening to Blaqk Audio's "Cexcells" about once a day, let alone once a week, for the past month or so.

Yeah, I don't have high hopes for this at all. Even Duncan as Balrog kinda rubs me the wrong way as I imagine him being a bit old, or at least older looking, for the part. Plus, it can never, NEVER, beat the original movie.

Right now, the only album I'm looking forward to is the new Mindless Self Indulgence album, which comes out in a month or so. I wanna preorder it from MerchNow as they bundle it with a t-shirt but no one has posted the design yet and it's already close to being sold out. By the way, have any MSI fans picked up the "Never Wanted To Dance" remix single that came out yesterday? I dropped by Best Buy yesterday since they've been carrying all their recent stuff and they didn't have it. If I can't find it in stores, I'll probably buy it online when I get the album.
