Slowly 100%ing L.A. Noire. Great game, awesome graphics. I don't know how successful it was(probably not), but I'd definitely like a sequel.

21 & Over - **1/2 out of ***** Star Trek: Into Darkness - *** out of ***** Neither was worth a poster. May also watch Safe Haven. That, too, will not be worth one...

Mud - ***1/2 out of ***** Frances Ha - ***1/2 out of ***** Two of the better things I've seen in 2013. Frances Ha made me laugh quite a bit.

They play studio competition just as much as the holidays.

Trouble With The Curve - ** out of ***** Stand Up Guys - ** out of ***** Starlet - *** out of *****

The candle thing made me laugh.

Disconnect held my interest. The acting is average. The dialogue is average. It even has a (laughable) slo-mo part like the movie Crash. The story I was most into at the beginning, was the one that I didn't care about at the end...and vice versa. That was a little funny.

You should have started with the pawn shop part...

No clue what that's about with a flat screen. Stuff like that pops up on projection TVs when you need a new bulb...

Disconnect - *** out of ***** Middle of the road stories about grief, sexuality and possession weaved together in a novice fashion. The Way, Way Back - **** out of ***** A skeleton of cliches aimed at teenagers that plays like Adventureland with it's edges rounded. Sam Rockwell and Allison Janney are relentless. The Great Gatsby - ** out of ***** Jimi Hendrix died by choking on his own vomit.

After picking, I take that back.

I will win.

Watch that Solaris remake.

Silver Linings Playbook - ***1/2 out of **** Funny movie, great leads, spins it's wheels attempting to get to the end.

You guys love those spoiler tags... Good season so far. Not close to season one or five, but there's still plenty to go.

Alien is the best one. Pfft...

Looper - ***1/2 out of ***** Solid film. Seen it a couple of times now and the storytelling holds well.

While that's a ridiculous notion, the ten nomination thing has really helped box office numbers. Twenty would continue that. People are completionists that need to be told what they should be seeing...
