Good for him, but I don't take it as a big deal. There's a chance he doesn't even have a contract next season and it has nothing to do with this announcement. Griner doing this as the #1 overall draft pick before she goes into the WNBA and becomes one of the greatest female players of all-time was slept on.

The Bourne Legacy - **1/2 or 5/10 Some good action sequences, coupled with an interesting opening 30 minutes for Renner's character. Still feels like one of the book movies that gets split into two parts for no reason. Ed Norton is wasted and all of the detached discussions in rooms by the opposition go nowhere. Any of the original trilogy or the first three Terminator movies are a better bet if you want the type of entertainment this one is trying to provide.

Technically, it's not really that Trek Universe. That was the whole point of the reboot. Spock is gay, guys.

I barely keep track of casting news, so that one made me laugh. It also feels like stunt casting to capitalize on GoT success.

I thought First Class was average, but the new one sounds like a great concept. Could be sunk by the same problem FC had though. Too many characters...

Really dug the first one Abrams made. Holds up to repeat viewings too. I don't look forward to films anymore, I just see them all eventually...but I'm probably going to check out Into Darkness as early as possible during it's opening day.

I make sure to check out all of those DC animated features. They don't necessarily follow film structure, but seem interested in staying loyal enough to the source. Some provide a whole lot of action when compared to live-action films... All of them are short too. The best ones are Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and Batman: Under The Red Hood. Still haven't seen the second part of Dark Knight Returns or this new Superman one that's coming out.

Zach Braff strikes me as the guy who falls asleep at parties.
