Came across this a while ago when I was looking for future Rourke films. Looked awesome then and it still does. All it needs is Jean Claude Van Damme to make me die from excitement.

Since it has aired I have watched every episode of Deadliest Warrior except from the IRA/Taliban one. I really enjoyed this show, but I agree with who said it earlier, that the guests can make or break it. If they stick with guys like Rufus Hound, who aren't on every other panel show, you have a unique format with mostly unseen guests. Have one high-profile celeb or comedian, but no more than that.

Saw Andy Pearsons live. He wasn't very good. The only good jokes he used (very few of them) are ones he used on MTW. And he swears a lot.

Thursdays in Northumbria SU is Karaoke night. I was going most weeks, but rarely ever singing. I've sang 3 times: Don't Stop Believing by Journey, Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler, and Poison by Alice Cooper. It wasn't a good experience for those listening. For Total Eclipse of the Heart I was singing with someone in a hardcore metal band and he actually started in his screamo voice by accident, that lead to us being booed heavily .

I really hope that it is just sensationalists saying he has died and he'll pull through.

I've never met Kendall Grove, but I hate him. Undefeated until I met him, when he took me out with his Muy Thai clinch 1:05 into the first round. I went away and kicked some more arse and eventually got the rematch. I managed to avoid the clinch this time, but he somehow managed to knock me out 1:50 into the first. 3rd match, I was sure I could beat him this time ... 0:11 he knocks me out. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.

Had it for 5 days now and my ground game is improving, though I am still finding it impossible to get to mount. I can transition to half guard and to side control, but then I always seem to go for the submission (which I also seem to suck at, can't spin the stick fast enough). All but 3 of my wins has come by knockout, some of which I am really proud with. Superman-punch FTW.

Current favourites to take the Sunderland job include Martin Jol and Steve McClaren. On this subject, and football history nerds want to tell me the last time Sunderland finished above Newcastle, let alone an entire division above?

Feel sorry for Shearer. He really has nothing to be ashamed about. He has never managed a team before, and NO ONE could have turned that team around, it was impossible. Obviously, he is a Newcastle fan, he is hurt by this, shouldn't take any of the blame though.

If Boro finish above Newcastle I will be really happy. In the unlikely event of Boro out-right surviving I've bought myself some baby oil and a banana hammock with intent of running through Eldon Square.

Today all the electricity in our kitchen went and my flatmate's key snapped in the door. Early indication shows this will be the worst day of my life.

I'm not too concerned with Boro going down. I am very realistic in the way that I think we deserve to be relegated. If we go down though, I most definitely want Newcastle to come with. They deserve to be relegated, but more so because I live in Newcastle and if Boro go down and Newcastle magically escape it'll be intolerable. Newcastle fans are really bad losers, but even worse winners.

Turkey do not deserve to be in the Top 10. Norway, I liked, but I don't think they should be winning, let alone by this much.
