The speed that these people have at what they're doing is amazing. It's like they don't even have to think about it.

I still really don't like the whole "cred" system, especially with having to add logos to your trunks. Probably what I hated most about the first game, too.

I'm a Light Heavyweight Muay Thai fighter, although I can't get the Muay Thai clinch on for longer than .25 seconds before I get transitioned out of it. So mostly I use a combination of stand-up strikes and ground and pound.

So is it impossible to just watch one match of an event in career mode without watching the whole event? I select Watch, then Skip Fight for the first fight, and it skips the whole event.

Why am I not surprised they took something out of Civ5 only to add it back with an expansion? EDIT: After reading this, though, it does sound much better than the religion from Civ4.

I won fight of the year my first year as well. It was actually the fight that came right before the awards. I also recall Mike Goldberg saying that you can't change the career difficulty once you choose it.

Picked it up last night and started a career. Only had time for one fight before bed, but after playing more today I'm now 5-1. Only had two fights go past the first round so far as well. I'm playing on advanced and...well, it's kind of easy. My career guy is a Muay Thai light heavyweight, but I can't figure out the muay thai clinch stuff for anything, so I mostly just take guys down, get a mount, and hammer them in the face until they stop moving or the referee pulls me off. At the moment I'm taking a break because playing my PS3 after not playing it for several weeks apparently gives me a carsick-like headache and I feel like hell right now. Only buggy issues I've noticed so far is in my most recent fight, when I scheduled it it said it'd be main event and my opponent was 22 years old. When it came to the actual fight, it was the co-main event and my opponent was 27. No big deal, but still kind of odd. Another thing I don't like is that I can't figure out what the in-game date is.

Star Trek 25th Anniversary. I had it for NES. Haven't really seen a good Trek game since, though I remember playing one for SNES that was decent but I can't remember the name.

If it's after 8:30 EST or so, I'll play. I've never played it before though.

Matzat's post is right. There have been at least three games that I was going to "buy" from the "store," but I decided to get them through Steam because Steam's downloads are faster and the updates are automatic.

So help me, if the price of games jumps to $70 with these new consoles, someone's going to die.

Boost the dunk stat up as far as you can, too. I think players with lower dunk stats will only do a lay-up if they're in traffic.

This thread and a few others on another board are making me really want this game. And I'm broke. Damnit. One day.

I got a TF2 Mercenary badge. I've yet to actually play TF2. EDIT: Apparently I also got 50% off Oddworld Abe's Odyssey, which I already have, and I got Counter-Strike: Source. That's more like it.

I'll probably end up getting this eventually anyway. From what I've read, if there's any MMO I can get in to, it'll be this one. It just won't be immediately.

Fair point, but most MMOs that are subscription based don't charge you for the game itself(WoW, for example), or they charge you less than full price of a non-MMO game. I think EVE Online is like $20 if you buy it boxed in stores.

Prices seem pretty good to me. I'm pretty happy to pay £40ish for 6 months, considering most games that take me about 10 hours to beat cost the same. And yeah, I'd like KOTOR 3 too, but this seems pretty great. It'll be nice to have a KOTOR that you can play with others with a lot more story options than just the one you play through in KOTOR, great as the story was. It isn't just $x for six months. It's $60 for the game and the first month, THEN $x for six months. So if it turns out to be like WoW where I try it for a couple of hours, quit because it's so boring, and never touch it again, it's $60 wasted. I've yet to find an MMO that could hold my attention.

Monthly fees are $15, less if you buy 3 month or 6 month packages. I'd really just prefer KOTOR 3 instead of an MMO.

I'm very tempted to get this. I just worry it'll be $60 for a game I'll barely play, as I tend to not stick with MMOs much.

My PG on MyPlayer got drafted to the Knicks. Eventually, I was one of the three main guys on the team along with Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire. Then both of them got traded.

All three of them are fun. Probably would get more play time out of Skyrim. NBA 2k12 isn't much different from 11, but the changes in it are good ones.

PS3 or 360? If you're on PS3, I'd like to try that story out.
