Undecided about rooting my Galaxy Note 2. Custom ROMS are out, since it'll set off the flash counter and screw me over if I have to return it, and no custom ROMs have S Pen support, which I've grown to like in the week I've had it

The GS4 looks cool but it kind of sucks that it's going to come with a locked bootloader.

Most phones will. HTC made some phones easy to unlock, Sony used to post instructions on how to do it with warnings it'd void the warrenty. I'd imagine since Motorola is owned by Google they'd be easy. SAmsungs seems to be the hold out

The S3 came with an unlocked bootloader, it was only Verizon's variant that was locked. So it's a little strange that the 4 would come with locked bootloaders across the board like that.
