RISP > RBI and it's not even close. RBI simply tells you how many times somebody has driven in a runner. RISP tells you the likelihood they will. Plus that can be broken down against lefties, righties, etc. I'd argue that Slugging % is a meh stat, as well, because it doesn't take into consideration times your total bases involved a fielding error. The point: baseball has a ton of useless stats and it's almost always the ones TV pundits flock to.

It will take an incredible amount of not doing much, and I feel I am the perfect person for the job.

The only way the Falcons draft a WR is for trade bait or because Gabriel wants too much money to be a WR3. If they don't draft towards the O-Line (alllllllll the guards, please), I will do absolutely nothing aside from wonder why they didn't draft towards the O-Line.

Jags/Steelers along with Saints/Vikings look like they will be two very fun games for very different reasons, much like Jags/Bills & Saints/Panthers were today. Wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers eek out a 14-10 win while Minny & Nawlins combine for over 50.

Crazily enough, I actually don't hate our chances against the Eagles. This won't be the last time we see the Rams in the playoffs, though.

PC hardware stuff! Recently switched to a Razer Mamba TE mouse (neither Kobe or jewelry included), Razer Blackwidow keyboard and Firefly mousepad. All Chroma, because colors. The keyboard is great, the mouse is pretty much the same as a Logitech G series (may give a slight edge to the Logi, mainly due to using it for so long), but the Firefly seems terrible. Still trying to figure out if the mousepad or mouse are the culprit, but man tracking seems weird. Any of you peeps run into this nonsense with Razer stuff?

I don't know if I can justify $22 or what have you on a non-Minecraft Early Access, but it does look fun. One of me mates is ranting about it, so I may gift it to him if finances allow. Borrows a lot from Starcraft interface-wise, but I don't hold that against it. Kinda fun to watch, too.

Maybe now he can save that quarter mil he supposedly spends on his trainers/etc.

Rumblings that the Kemp trade was more to make space for Ronald Acuna once he's ready to go. Outfield likely of Acuna/Inciarte/Markakis, though Nick may be the piece that gets them Christian Yelich to form a stupidly young-and-promising outfield.

Leaves Early Access 12/18 with the addition of four-player online, focus then shifts to console versions, first bit of DLC will be Fire Promoter, allowing you to run your own promotion. Just before the 18th, the game will be 33% off ($13.99 or so) and then go to its normal price of $29.99. I'm probably being a cheapass about this, but $30 seems...a bit steep for what it is right now.

I redeemed that code, then looked to see what I could get for said coins. I now regret redeeming said code and will not do so again until there are Switch rewards. My apologies. Separate: WWE 2k18 hitting for Switch has made me think how much fun Fire Pro would be on that system. Alas, maybe soon.

Gotta give props to Stick Fight: The Game. Love it when you can get a multiplayer game as fun and chaotic as Nidhogg but with more people and quicker rounds. New Civ VI expansion announced, $30 when it hits in February. I always forget how much I love that game.

Rocket League was ruined by the MLG crowd. NHL Hitz 20-02 is one of the greatest multiplayer games ever made. Kingdom Hearts is pretty freaking daft...and not in a good way. Super Mario RPG is Square-Enix's best game. Pretty much every popular Let's Play channel has become rich people griping about their rich lives.

Could see Philly being a good landing spot for T.Y. Hilton. Wouldn't be surprised if Frank Gore winds up as a contender's backup, either.
