  1. It's that kind of thing where clearly they should be taking Suarez off by now, but because he's Suarez, they're going to keep him on.
  2. Weirdly, I can see Russia bossing this group at the moment.
  3. Won the Portuguese league by like 11 points in the third season, but lost to AC Milan in the Champs League semi-finals. Not doing as well in the fourth season; still unbeaten in the league but 7 wins, 4 draws is pretty meh after last season. We also probably have to beat AC in our final group game in the Champs League to qualify for the next round, which is going to be a tall order
  4. That Ridley video was pretty badass. Though Daisy being in (whilst cool) and Waluigi still only being an Assist is pretty annoying.
  5. Ended up being knocked out of the UEFA Cup in the semi-finals by Sporting Lisbon, then fucked up catching Porto in the Primeira Liga when we lost 3-2 to Boavista on the penultimate day; even a draw and we'd have won. Annoyingly, Porto have now gone and poached my best player too at the start of the new season. Oh, also, Denmark won Euro 2004, which England didn't actually qualify for after finishing 3rd in their qualification group.
  6. Sakurai's definitely in the direct, so we'll be getting a pretty hefty Smash roster I assume. Will be interesting to see if some of the DLC characters re-appear too.
  7. Yeah, I've not been one to get on the "F1's getting boring" train, but when they managed to make Canada that dull, it's worrying. Grosjean on something like 30 lap younger tyres couldn't get past Gasly, which in cars as matches as the Toro Rosso & Haas makes no sense. Still, another point for Leclerc, so I'm happy.
  8. Started up CM 01/02 again a couple days ago and been playing it pretty solidly. Trying the Pentagon; started off in some random Russian Division 2 team and just missed out on promotion with them twice (3rd, then 4th). Resigned as we weren't getting anywhere, and ended up with Alverca in Portugal. Pulled them from bottom and 6 points from safety after 10 games and up to 4th by the end of the season and in the UEFA Cup. Currently in my second season with them and we've had a really easy run in the UEFA Cup so far; we're in the final 16 and set up well for the future. 2nd in the league too behind Porto, who are just so far ahead in terms of the club depth that I've only managed a draw at best against them in four matches so far. Also the 2002 World Cup final saw Germany beat Paraguay 2-0 . United-Roma has been the Champs League final for both seasons too, with United winning both.
  9. So after the hype/disappointment of Let's Go being announced, the 1997 beta of Gold has just leaked. Fun things about it: > Baby Vulipx, Tangela, Goldeen, Paras, Doduo, Ponyta, Grimer, Growlithe + Mime Jr. > Popplio-esque thing is the water starter, and no Cyndaquil/Totodile lines > Qwilfish, Ditto, Farfetch'd all have evolutions > Leafeon & Tangrowth are in the game > Weepinbell has an alternate evo > Pinsir has an evo which might have ended up being Heracross > Wooper doesn't exist
  10. The first two episodes in particular are a real effort to get through, but the last 4 or so are definitely worth it. They’re better than any of S4 (although I’ve still not finished the re-cut) Speaking of the last episodes:
  11. Kimmy Schmidt Season 4 came out today. Spoilers:
  12. I imagine Williams probably are too. If Ricciardo pulls this off then it's going to be amazing. I somehow doubt the car will last long enough to do that, though.
  13. Looks like it's dried up though already, unfortunately.
  14. Mercedes say they're worried about this weekend, which usually means Mercedes 1-2 confirmed. McLaren really need a good position here too, this has been traditionally of their strong points when they were with Honda, so that might be interesting to watch. Also, shoutout to Leclerc who is very quickly proving his worth in that Sauber. I suspect that he might be in the Haas sooner or later... Marko has also only said there isn't any "intention at the moment" to replace Hartley with Werhlein, but that's also the loosest possible terminology I've heard on that (and let's face it, Hartley is only there by default).
  15. JEV is 40 points clear now in the standings. It's also crazy to think he's only 28.
  16. Season 4, ultimately, has DeBrie and Fantastic Four, which is the *best* things.
  17. I really haven't noticed or cared that much about halo, to be honest.
  18. Cracker is 100% my favourite and I'm hoping they're not going down a Thorgy route in putting her constantly in the top but not winning. I'm warming to Vixen, although I still don't think there's really a huge amount of talent there: she's got a big voice, but when you look at her performance in these acting challenges (the app one and this week's) it's clear that it's a weakness. Asia's winning me over, as is Aquaria a little (though I hated her ball looks, bar the lucha one). I low-key love Monique as well, whose kind of lovably clueless like Joslyn was. Fully expecting Kameron, Blair and Monique to be the next ones to go, and mayyyybe Eureka too, who I feel has had her rudemption by now.
  19. I love Danny Ricc as much as I'm rolling my eyes at Max Verstappen. What the hell was he doing in that race? Right from the off with the over-exuberant celebration of passing Lewis, he's starting to look really immature.
  20. God bless all this Bake Off appearing. Speaking of Gods: Wild Wild Country is pretty great. Wasn't sure on the first episode but it's hooked me now (although I knew the story beforehand). It's weird jumping between whose side you're on in the whole thing.
  21. Thought the race was fine, but after the safety car I tuned out - doesn't seem like I missed much though. I mean Australia is always a tough one to judge how close / how difficult it'll be for people for the rest of the year, so I'm not reading too much in to it. I'm guessing that it'll be the same top two teams with Red Bull just behind, but Haas playing the Force India-spoiler role as usual, and the threat of McLaren and Renault being able to get in the top 5/6 if anyone has issues. Also LeClerc had a storming race yesterday that went underrated, finishing ahead of Stroll and Hartley in that Sauber is no joke.
