  1. Well yeah...because he probably would've had like 4 or 5 arms wavin' in his face.
  2. As I said in the WWE News thread, it makes sense that it's for the game since there was no mention of it outside of WWE.Com and they didn't sneak it into the programming like the Jericho return vignettes.
  3. That Knick/Heat game...oof. You could pretty much label that game finished by the middle of the 3rd. And, I'm not a LeBron hater but those two flops he took in the 2nd...can't defend that. It's like he got done watching a Dolph Ziggler match before the game and said "hmm...maybe I can do that today".
  4. He'll probably be out for 4-10 games (last regular season game and the complete first round and part of the second should the Lakers go further) and that's it. Anything more would be reactionary to the public's outrage. Also, gotta love the media complaining "it's a shame that this is being talked about as opposed to such a great game" while continuing to show the hit from several different angles, thus making it a bigger story than the rest of the game.
  5. Some news on Peyton Manning's future: As per ESPN, the Colts and Manning are parting ways with an announcement expected tomorrow.
  6. I'm not an atheist but I question the validity of organized religion constantly.

I'm an atheist, and I believe in performing abortions to save endangered species and also a 150% tax rate on job creators and Christians as we turn over the country to Shariah law.

So I go up to Carol in HR and I'm like "CAROL! CAROL!"

  8. I have The Ropers theme song stuck in my head.

  9. I'm not kidding you - it spent like 3 weeks (maybe even less) in theatres before being pulled. Suffice it to say, I wouldn't be shocked if it and Jack & Jill clean up in the categories that they're in.
  10. Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.

  11. em...just so you know, the players don't actually live in the stadium :/ Really? I didn't know this...
  12. So, Eli not only beat Brady in the Super Bowl - twice - but he also has one more ring than Peyton, which he won in Peyton's house. ...Wow.
  13. Well, that's cause it's Prince. It's not a show with him - it's an experience.
  14. I thought they threw a flag cause Brady got hit - didn't know they were gonna call intentional grounding.
  15. Suddenly, Cundiff is breathing a little easier.
  16. There's no if - the Patriots are going to run the score up on the Broncos. The real question is if they'll allow them to get a few garbage points at the end of the game.
  17. ESPN can cancel all their Mercury Morris segments now. Not needed anymore.
  18. After what happened at the end of last week, I'm not shocked that the deal's dead.
  19. Oh, no doubt that this is the typical "QB gets all the praise for the wins/all the blame for the losses" thing that happens. Though, I don't doubt that I'd be able to find staunch Tebow fans who think that he has been the single driving force behind their winning streak. I will give the man credit: He's the anti-LeBron - nowhere to be found for the first 3 quarters; puts on his war face for the 4th. I guess a QB getting the team riled up like they're at a pep rally does work.
  20. Here are some things that coincide with Tebow's 7-1 record: - The difference between the 7-1 team and the 1-4 team was that the latter's defense was injured, and were like a thimb in a waterfall. The defense gets healthy, and boom, they're able to hold teams close while their quarterback stinks up the joint for 3 quarters. - Typically speaking, the opposition does something stupid that gives the Broncos chances to get field position, yards, and scores. Whether it's a bonehead penalty, interception, fumble, or their defensive coverage going completely inept, something happens to help Tebow and the offense get ahead. - Not to forget, the reason why Tebow doesn't have many mistakes is because his coaches won't let him make mistakes. They won't call plays for him to do the idiotic things that most young quarterbacks do. When all you have to do is manage the game and not try to take the game over with your arm, of course your interception count will be down. - And above all else, the opposing quarterback somehow forgets how to play, and has a terrible game that allows Tebow to outplay him. This goes back to the second point but with the exception of the Lions game, most of the QBs they've face have played poorly in that game, which helped Tebow when he wakes up from that 45-minute siesta he takes before the 4th quarter. I know people are gonna say "he just wins!" and won't want to hear any criticisms but anyone with eyes can see that it's not just Tebow - it's his entire team picking up the slack. That...and that whole Jesus thing they've got going for them.
