  1. If we're talking about one-off characters, how can we not mention Frank Grimes and the amazing line "What's this? 'Extremely high voltage.' Well, I don't need safety gloves, 'cause I'm Homer Simp--"?
  2. Much like Tony Romo, A-Rod is the opposition's best player.
  3. Ugh...and my fears are about to come true: We're one step closer to "Seth MacFarlane's Sunday Comedy Bonanza".
  4. Replace Whitney with 2 Broke Girls and that may be the problem I have with the show. Both of which are written by Whitney Cummings. Yes, she's a co-producer and creator on two primetime shows on two different national television networks.
  5. I watched the first two episodes of that Whitney show and I just can't find any enjoyment to it. From the dialogue coming off as forced and unnatural at points to jokes being stacked on top of each other and the overuse of the laugh track, I just can't honestly recommend this show to anyone.
  6. Hey, Boston - don't blame the Yankees for losing. Blame yourselves for going 7-20 in September, blowing a 9 game lead, and having to rely on another team to lose in order for you to get in. Or for more accurate analysis - LOL Boston.
  7. Watching "Catching Hell" on ESPN and boy, do I feel bad for Steve Bartman.

He should have thought about the consequences before he naturally reacted.

Also, Chicago should have sucked less for the rest of the game.

Yeah they could have gotten the guy out on the next pitch. Instead they're the Cubbies.

  8. Red State. Michael Parks is perfect in it.
  9. 75% of the time, I feel the same way about Lily.
  10. I saw the new intro for Two and a Half Men and my God...that Angus T. Jones has a punchable face.

  11. It's pretty clear that Belichick doesn't want them to act as individuals. They are the poster boys for the No Fun League. I think a player can have an honest reaction when their team has 622 yards of total offense, 517 of them coming from their quarterback. That's Madden-on-easy numbers.
  12. I'm watching The Scott Van Pelt Show on ESPN News and they have Damien Woody on and he's basically saying the same thing that Bruschi is saying. Which leads me to ask: Are all Patriots players - current and former - implanted with a chip in their brains that takes out all their emotions? Seriously, what is wrong with Ocho tweeting that?

Cena will have an RTWM. He's one of the only people, if not the only, to have a Road in every game since their inception. Yeah, I'd say Cena and Orton are locks for two of the 5 spots this year. What with them making a big fuss over Orton with the cover and the trailer for the game along with them basically naming the new technology they're introducing into the game after him.

I think that's how it went. He turned into Boogeyman and the person you used turned into a diva CAW who had to face Lashley.
  15. In what could be seen as a shock to no one, Bucky Larson got a 0 rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Maybe it needed more commercials with Peter Dante shouting.

Grown Ups starred legitimate box office stars. Couples Retreat had a likable cast and a concept that could appeal to people who like bland relationship comedies.

I'd happily give it at least one star on the basis that Miles Deep is a tremendous porn name.

Then again, "Tom Brady directed" gives me a new reason to hate the guy (yes i know it's not the same guy shut up)

  16. I'm still trying to figure out why Lady Gaga was dressed up as Tony Manero.

She was definitely Cliff Compton, right down to looking totally fucking sleep-deprived.

She wasn't, she was dressed up as Roberto Luongo.

I think that one was Here Comes The Pain? Nah, I'm pretty sure it wasn't Here Comes The Pain, I remember this being a game breaker for me and I loved Here Comes The Pain. And yeah, I've checked and it was 07, in 08 they removed it but kept the wrestling styles, like Luchadore and Brawler. Trust me, if you spent a few hours with 07, you'd understand why they removed it. Ugh, I remember the weight detection in 07. Horrendous. Even using someone like Edge or Orton against Khali, Show, and Kane was bad because if you threw a kick, it'd cause you to recoil back in pain. Thankfully they got rid of it.
  18. Sounds like the TTTT arena is located in Bizarro Land.

Found video that confirms championship styled introductions are in the game. No audio but it's a good visual me thinks.

Didn't they say the pacing of the matches will replicate what we see on TV? Meaning that the beginning moments will be fast paced and the longer the match goes, the slower it'll be. So I think the whole "You won't spend all that time on the mat, we keep the action going" thing will only affect you in the early portions of the match.
  21. The Yankee fans that are on this forum will agree to this: John Sterling is the worst.

  23. Wait... It's still going? I remember watching episodes of that show back in 97.
