  1. To be fair, they got their act together with Ed - the last two runs they did of it were both month-long and one-episode-per-day, so you got the entire season without interuptions. I agree that it was a nightmare the first time around though, they seemed to pop it into the schedule at random :ohwell: Brilliant show though
  2. Tails is awesome. The rest of the Sonic characters outside of the big 3 suck cock though. Glad you said playable characters otherwise it would be a thread full of Tom Nook.

    The Borat Movie

Dunno. As has been mentioned earlier the prostitute was an actress, but I think otherwise outside of the main two actors and the people from Kazakhstan, they were all real people.

  5. Ugh, Beatles & Nirvana. At least one of the albums I voted for (Siamese Dream) got in. Probably be the only one.
  6. It's silly to think that Sony won't win the console war next/this generation. They just have too much fanatical support. However, the price is going to alienate a lot of people and their general dickiness cannot be hidden to the casual gamer forever. This will mean that the 360 & Wii will build their support in America/Europe and can take over Sony's virtual monopoly, the generation after. Nintendo will never go away, it is too big in Japan. They are the only company making money from video gaming and could probably afford to sell absolutely fuck all outside of Japan. To add another topic into the discussion, Micro Transactions are stupid and they need to be ignored by everyone, so gaming is not fucked up because of it. It's rediculous for that Gran Turismo game to have no cars or tracks. That game better sell 0 copies or I'm going to be angry.

  9. This was rediculously unadvertised. I heard it come on TV, when I was in another room. Didn't go watch it, I didn't know anyone in there.
  10. Yeah, the new titles were shitty. They should've just kept the ones they had for the last 12 years (or however long it has been).
  11. Amstell was great. But I don't like the way Phil Jupitus looks now. He used to look the youngest, now he looks the second oldest. No one can look older than Bill.
  12. Looking at the albums I brought down to Plymouth with me, the contenders appear to be: Graham Coxon- Love Travels at Illegal Speeds- Outside shot. Arctic Monkeys- Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not- Mercury Prize winner and the biggest selling debut album this year. The Like- Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?- Just beautiful. The Flaming Lips- At War With the Mystics- Another outside shot. Johnny Cash- American V: A Hundred Highways- emotional. Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Show Your Bones- Effortless rock n roll is what Mojo said. Who am I to argue? The Kooks- Inside In/Inside Out- My personal choice. Nothing has come close to touching it so far this year. Honourable mentions go to Outkast & Plan B. In conclusion hip hop sucks more in '06 than in '96.
  13. Opening Credits: The Darkness- Dinner Lady Arms  Waking Up: The Rolling Stones- Sister Morphine (Interesting choice...) First Day At School: Embrace- World At Your Feet (Quite fitting if you ignore the obvious football connection. Got a whole life ahead) Falling In Love: Red Hot Chili Peppers- Charlie (meh) Fight Song: Blur- She's So High (Doesn't work whatsoever) Breaking Up: Brian Auger & The Trinity- This Wheel's on Fire (Sad lyrics, happy tune. Sad break up, happy to be free) Prom: ABC- Show Me (Works well) Life's OK: Orson- No Tomorrow (Party animal little self) Mental Breakdown: The Kinks- See My Friends (Only works if my breakdown is due to confusion about my sexuality) Driving: The Prodigy- Out of Space (Y) Flashback: Beastie Boys- Song for the Man (Tune fits a stoned flashback, ignore the lyrics) Wedding: Beastie Boys- I Don't Know (Having doubts) Getting Back Together: Bob Dylan- Desolation Row (...oh) Paradise lost : Thom Yorke- Cymbal Rush  Birth of Child: Graham Coxon- See A Better Day Final Battle: Blur- There's No Other Way Death Scene: Johnny Cash- If You Could Read My Mind (About time one worked again) Funeral Scene: Eminem- My Dad's Gone Crazy (...and then it gets ruined) End Credits: Bright Eyes- Poison Oak (meh)

    Fleetwood Mac

I was in a club that advertised it was playing 'classic rock' tonight. No Fleetwood Mac at all.

    Fleetwood Mac

Me and a friend had a discussion about how great Fleetwood Mac are a few months ago. He said classic rock was awesome, and the first band I came up with was Fleetwood Mac. Little boring insight into my life for ya.
  18. That is awful. I liked him. RIP Paul Hunter.
  19. Stand By Me 10/10 I decided to rewatch this again, after referencing it many times to people recently. Drags a bit in the middle with the Lard Ass story, but still the perreniel (sp?) coming of age story.
  20. OK Computer's #2. Definetely Maybe is #1.
  21. Here Reasonably pricey.
  22. Ray Reardon signed photo. I might also have a few signed programs of Yeovil Town players from about 93/94, but I don't have them to hand and can't check and I don't know the players so I doubt anyone on here will.
