  3. Anybody know what the best online site would be for getting some comic books? I am interested in good delivery and preferably lower prices, but I'll pay more for better quality.
  4. I BEAT MANCHESTER UNITED! ON THE ROAD! WITH SWANSEA! EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE LEAGUE CUP, WHATEVER!
  5. Given that the amount of countries is increasing in Europe a lot over the years, I can see why they would need to add more spots. I don't see it affecting the quality too much. The 2nd & 3rd place teams are generally really close anyways and this could lead to a lot more opportunity to teams drawn into 'Groups of Death' to still qualify.
  6. Eh, I think players should just be enshrined with trophy's or a team Hall of Fame instead of retiring the number. I don't really care that much about what digits are on a guy's jersey, more so on what he's accomplished and such. Also, what's the deal with people putting up division/conference banners? If the Canadians did that the entire roof would be overflowing with banners.
  7. Yes. no idea why you would keep running up the score. I suppose there might be some tie breaker based on goals, but it just seems like overkill.
  8. So I did a game with Mexico. Only lost two matches by one goal each (Both to the USA in the Gold Cup Finals/Qualifying) and I got my World Cup draw. Brazil, England & Ivory Coast. 4 Top 15 teams in one group... although I am ranked ahead of England & Ivory Coast.
  9. Maybe next time FD. Also, any suggestions for an International team to play as? I am interested in taking Mexico to see if I can get them a World Cup win. Them or a quality African team. Basically a non-Europe/South American side that can actually go all the way.
  10. Well that shouldn't be a problem for me
  11. The Mid 90's Spiderman was absolutely great. Good story arcs, well portrayed villains, cameo appearances. I even didn't hate the Rocket racer episode. The Batman is actually enjoyable as far as new stuff goes. I've watched some episodes recently and it was enjoyable stuff.
  12. Actually, Bane wasn't a 'big brute'. He was portrayed to be just as smart, if not smarter, than Batman. He didn't just walk up and break Batman's back, he weakened him in various ways and waited for the right moment. That being said, I think introducing a new character and having him become Batman in the same movie is too much stuff going on. Unless they just ended the movie with Batman being crippled and had Jean-Paul/A new Robin/whoever take his place in the movie after that. But clearly I am getting ahead of myself.
  13. Anybody know where you can get a working version of the European Super League scenario?
  14. You just blew my mind. Thanks for the tips though.
  15. Anyone got advice on what attribute make up good Target Men & Playmakers? I think if I, you know, actually utilized them my teams would be far better for it.
  16. I think the next film could really use someone like Deadshot as a villain. His initial debut (Which was in batman) was him trying to become the new 'Hero' of Gotham while secretly planning on becoming a criminal king. I can see him trying to capitalize on Gotham's new dislike of Batman and be the hero of the people while actually being the villain to those watching. OR IT'S MR. REESE AS BANE.
  17. So much for seeing Superman melt some faces.
  18. I think the QB shouldn't throw more than 15 times a game if I am running the 49ers offense. They have Gore and any passes should be quick outs to Davis. Does san Fran still have a good D?
  19. So, nobody is surprised to see the Cyprus team looking at a very real shot at making the Group stages?
  20. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. I'd hardly say he was useless. Not elite, but he could manage an offense adequately enough and didn't make too many stupid mistakes. That said, I still have doubts from what I have seen in Rodgers, but who knows. I'd still start him ahead of Favre after all the crap he's pulled.
  21. I too find smaller clubs more fun and easier to manage. I actually got Bath City to the FA Cup 4th round (Including an improbable win over a Championship side. I can't remember which, but the team was 4 level ahead of me for god's sake) and the cash was great. As was said elsewhere, it's just more satisfying knowing you've built a team up and made them great instead of just going out and buying whoever you want as someone like Chelsea. Of course, I usually play as Eastern Europeans power houses and such as I find it's a nice balance of having the cash but challenging as not everyone wants to play there.
  22. Trailer looked great, and I will probably be reading the book soon. Even though I am well aware of pretty much the whole plot, it's still something I want to check out.
  23. They wouldn't need to do this if they hadn't given such awful contracts to their players. Nene is making like 10 million a year and is probably at most worth half of that. It should help the Clippers, but I don't know if a guy like Camby who could start to play old soon is such a great use of their cap room. Than again I guess they want to win now, adding Davis and all.
  24. Yeah, SNES was the best of Nintendo. Naiwf is right on with PS2 I would guess. Just so many good games, graphics that I really see being impressive even with new systems, online play... they really did things right with it.
  25. The Warriors have no PG now. Nobody but Philly has benefited from these musical chairs of movement. The Clippers have no inside presense, and braon will have to go back to hsi Hornets days and carry the whole fucking load. The Warriors have no PG now that I know of, and as good as Maggette, Jackson & Ellis is... Nellie Ball or any ball won't work without a good PG. Philly are obvious winners as they get a huge upgrade in their front court (Assuming brand is as good as before) and haven't lost anybody. Plus since they are in the East, they have a shot at the playoff's at least. It was probably the smartest career move for Brand, but if he had just made it clear he was leaving no matter what (Which honestly just seems to be the case) than I doubt the Clippers would have signed an older guy like Davis. It would either be young parts towards building a future, and the Warriors would have been able to re-sign him and become a far better team. So yeah, brand fucked up two western teams on his way to Philly. What a champion.
