  1. I was bored so I did this... A Caps P W D L Win % PPG Trevor Brooking 47 3 2 1 0 66.67% 2.33 Michael Carrick 34 3 2 1 0 66.67% 2.33 Kevin Keegan 63 449 222 96 131 49.44% 1.70 Frank Lampard 106 117 55 23 39 47.01% 1.61 Bobby Robson 20 255 119 64 72 46.67% 1.65 Peter Reid 13 353 159 95 99 45.04% 1.62 Ray Wilkins 84 126 53 21 52 42.06% 1.43 Glenn Hoddle 53 313 116 84 113 37.06% 1.38 Bryan Robson 90 433 160 122 151 36.95% 1.39 Stuart Pearce 78 97 34 20 43 35.05% 1.26 Steven Gerrard 114 40 13 8 19 32.50% 1.18 Alan Ball 72 116 35 38 43 30.17% 1.23 Gareth Southgate 57 151 45 43 63 29.80% 1.18 Paul Ince 53 21 6 4 11 28.57% 1.05 Sammy Lee 14 14 3 4 7 21.43% 0.93 Tony Adams 66 22 4 7 11 18.18% 0.86 Dave Watson 12 7 1 3 3 14.29% 0.86 Alan Shearer 63 8 1 2 5 12.50% 0.63 There may be a couple of managers who accidentally have some non-PL matches included, if they were at teams who bounced around a bit, as I wasn't checking too closely. I also skipped Trevor Francis, Phil Neal, Phil Thompson, Steve Coppell, Roy McFarland, Colin Todd, Terry McDermott, Scott Parker Gerry Francis, and Graham Rix because they either didn't have a managerial statistics section on Wikipedia, or I couldn't be bothered to sieve out their time in the Championship. Coppell and Parker certainly fall into the latter camp. There were 14 more ex-full internationals who have managed in the PL with less than 10 caps, as well as 15 more who made England B or U21s appearances.
  2. Currently doing a watch through of The Comic Strip presents... and, while he's had some odd/outdated roles, I've very much enjoyed his involvement in the Five Go Mad episodes I've seen so far.

Prices absolutely put me off considering I saw Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer for a combined £80 earlier this year (originally supposed to be 2020).

It's a shame it isn't being done as a joint Blink/Alkaline tour, that'd be perfect.
  5. It feels like sooner or later every single manager and pundit in European football is going to be a Premier League midfielder from the 00s.
  6. Who doesn't love a friendly YouTube nonce playing a visual spreadsheet simulator?
  7. Don't need an out and out striker if you have four 10s and six wingers...
  8. My first job was at a music venue that booked Coolio to appear and people genuinely didn't believe that the real Coolio would ever come to Norwich. So many people thought that it was just a tribute act that sales didn't take off and the promoter cancelled the show as a result.
  9. I'd say good but Italy have also recently proven that they don't deserve nice things.
  10. It's impressive that Hungary have gone from League C to potentially reaching the finals within 3... seasons? Shame their fans suck otherwise it'd be worth rooting for them.
  11. Isn't that because most American sports are built on a franchise model though? It'd be part of the package you sign up to when buying a franchise to play in those leagues.
  12. Here's the best offer I've spotted for the moment, if any of you are planning on getting it immediately. Personally, I've just bought FM22 for a much more comfortable £13.
  13. More of the same issues Chelsea are facing in the league, I'm afraid. Lack of cohesion and a lack of confidence in front of goal. Not quite sure why BT Sport are trying to drill home the idea that Tuchel is getting "irate" though. Sure, it's disappointing that his team are struggling against an (on paper) weaker side, but it's not like he's dishing out stern handshakes or biting his colleagues...
  14. When I first heard Enter Shikari in ~2007 I wasn't really keen on them. A few years later and they're probably my favourite band and still are.
  15. Parker got Fulham up through the playoffs in 19/20 and Bournemouth up as runners-up in 21/22. Looking forward to seeing who he wins the Championship with next season.
  16. I'd much rather keep CHO but would equally see him loaned out to another PL side without anyone needing to replace him. We're already loaded up on wingers, adding an overpriced youngster with a single season of first-team football under his belt is just unnecessary. At least with Fofana, he'd be filling a much needed role in the squad and would have had two seasons in the PL without his serious injury last year.
  17. I'd quite like us to sign Mitrovic or Toney. Both have proven themselves at mid/low table PL clubs and should only improve their goal tallies in a better side. Pukki was another example of that but I think he's a bit too old to be worth it now, certainly more valuable to Norwich than he would be to Chelsea anyway.
  18. It'll be pretty cool to watch and support everyone who isn't Barcelona!
  19. Not as good as Norwich's home and away kits, but not terrible.
  20. I've been using them to motivate me in getting through my massive backlog of PS3/4 games. Not too fussed about the fact that many platinum trophies are unattainable due to online servers being switched off. Some of them are a bit too much effort for no real reward, also. Basically, if I don't achieve it through a normal playthrough, and it isn't something you can complete within a single session of focusing on getting it, I tend not to bother. Fallout: New Vegas is proving especially clunky to play right now, so I've been stuck on that for most of 2022...
  21. This but Barcelona, punching Xavi, and... paella?
  22. I had this with Norwich fans referring to Pierre Lees-Melou as 'PLM' last season. I guess it makes sense for dedicated fans, same reason I probably feel comfortable reading and writing CHO for Callum Hudson-Odoi, but I've already seen people on r/chelseafc writing KK26 for Koulibaly, which is ridiculous. I also don't understand why Jorginho gets referred to as J5.
  23. Pictured: Haaland, Walker, and De Bruyne during their time at Hogwarts.
  24. I agree with Colly tbh, that ones firmly in the bus seat upholstery group for me.
