  1. So Jouzy, Baddar, and any other PS3ers: If we're going to do a pro club, I'd be up for it, but remember I'm on American time, and I'd be a bit intermittent anyway. I prefer to play as a forward/striker, but willing to be midfield too. Tend to play aggressive in the opposing half of the pitch, shot accuracy could be better but I tend to be on target unless the penalty box is full of bodies. I play at Semi-Pro level, good win percentage there. PSN is OctoberRaven
  2. Man. Playing FUT as a bronze level all-England squad (as the tournament rules require all bronze and 1 nationality). Final against Swansea City, and I don't realize until after I confirm that the game decided to put me a difficulty above what I'm used to. So I'm a one-and-a-half star squad playing against an BPL club, and playing above my difficulty. 13 min in, Sinclair takes a free kick about 25 yards out and just left of the goal. Hits it over the wall and into the left corner of the net. 0-1 in Swan's favor. I manage to equalize with a lucky penalty, then pull ahead thanks to my ace striker Clarke. One of my backs, Hogg, gets sent off by a straight red by a mistimed slide (that didn't look bad enough to merit red) but I manage to hold the 2-1 to the half. So as I started 4-3-3, I shift to a 4-3-2 to keep a strong defense. This doesn't work as Britton and Sinclair both get past my keeper, 2-3 at 57 min. I call for more aggressive play and at 75' Lewis gets the equalizer and then answers with another goal at 84'. Not wanting to tempt fate I radically shift to 4-5-0, but Swan's will has been totally broken they concede another penalty. I bury them at 89', and it ends 5-3 I was hoping to settle for a shootout... but holy crap that was probably my best performance yet in terms of difficulty. Now if I can just figure out how to execute a good cross I might venture back into online play again...
  3. Sent you a friend invite. Accept when you can, I'm still trying to build my FUT squad. Had a good run of no disconnections but it's starting again...
  4. Fucking EA servers. Twice now they've crapped out on me, this time during an Ultimate Team game. I hope they don't count that as a match my boys played, because I'm going to have to buy at least one bronze pack to fill my Youth Club's starters if it is
  5. So I tried online in FUT, and got thrashed 2-8 The guy had all gold and my GK is 64 overall, so I was totally outmatched. The score might have been a bit more even had our teams been more even... and if the referee carded him every time he slid into me from behind, which he tried to do every time I had the ball on his half of the pitch. Amazed that I didn't get to take a penalty, but I still have problems taking penalties so oh well. I decided to stick to single player, making a secondary "Youth Squad" of bronze players to play in the Bronze Regionals tournament (though I'm going semi-pro in it because amateur is far too easy for me now) when my silvers need contract extension. Also been playing the Barclays as Norwich City on the side. 15 games in and currently 4th place. Very nearly beat Man City 2-3 but they equalized right at the end. Grant Holt is top scorer though
  6. Well, I kind of do already.
  7. Do Ultimate Team online games pay out more than vs CPU? Trying to figure out a way to make more than 500 credits a match as my starting 11 starts becoming silver. Finally got a spiffy away kit. Now to try to get a home kit that actually matches it.....
  8. "Oh! Yeah. It was quicker to say though."

I like Dr McNinja as much as the next guy but this isn't even all that funny.

  9. Working on your bottom grapple game would probably be a good idea too, and possibly learning some sweeps and transitions. If you're struggling to get standing it'll wear you out and make you easier to submit. Plus if you get rocked on the ground, it's a huge plus to the guy trying to submit you. I personally love the submission mechanic, it's like EAMMA's but better. You really have to work on it to submit people in the higher difficulties though. Sliding heel hook is cheap as fuck though. Especially with the submission transition.
  10. "Oh! You know, I -do- understand that math problem now!"

  11. Ah. Well hopefully I can find some kits that at the very least look like they belong together. And figure out how to defend worth a damn, including taking penalties. Also in the Ultimate Team mode, I'm assuming when someone's contract is at 0 they won't play anymore?
  12. So anyone who has this on PS3 and wants an easy win, hit me up. PSN: OctoberRaven Also, can you change your club logo in the ultimate team thing? And how do I set my kit?
  13. Gangrel is a lot bigger in person than I thought he'd be/

Given his recent line of work, I have to question the context of this statement...

He was at an indy wrestling show. Really good match.

  14. Good question. I really don't have a problem with the pacing though. Also, I wish there was a way to copy layers in the banner and logo makers. And that the logo search engine didn't suck so bad that it's almost impossible to find what you're looking for unless it's under a proper noun. And am I the only one that gets inexplicable, offline slowdown when defending subs?
  15. "First of all, I never tamed the buffalo. It was already tame! I merely shot it."

  16. Dude, it's just a novelty character. Hell, they had the Tapout guys in street clothes in the first two games.
  17. Awesome occurrence in career mode, vs Bisping. As the ref gives instructions, the athletic commissioners are actually putting their arms between the fighters as if stopping them from coming to blows before the bell. You'd think training buddies wouldn't be so hostile to each other but there ya go.
  18. I've noticed that with a couple of the karate face kicks, yeah. I'm doing Career Mode in Advanced now, in the Middleweight division as Jack "The Ripper" Harris. I used the paint logo to make it look like he's got frowny face style faintpaint on him, but that aside this is probably my favorite created guy in the UFC games to date. I got him training in Wolfslair so he's going to have some crazy unorthodox ground striking and suplexes.

  20. He's not just any kunmaza, he's the BEST kunmaza. Whatever the hell a kunmaza is.

  21. Full Metal Jousting is an awesome show.

  22. "I only just completed the set-house-on-fire switch and circuit!" http://yellow5.com/pokey/

  23. It was certainly unconventional. I liked it. And it's better than the ending to the second chapter of Persona 3... Still the good ending to the main game was awesome, and a good way to end one of the best stories in video games ever (topped only by Persona 4).
