Yeah, she was. She was the one that gave Jack the alcohol "against regulations". Anyway, another brilliant episode. Was kinda obvious that Shannon would die seeing as it was her (first) flashback for the show, but oh well. And yes, hopefully we get kickass Sayid back. His character went downhill in my opinion ever since the Shannon romance began.

Hmm... I'm betting for a tie between Alba and Jolie for #1. I just couldn't imagine neither of them making the list.

The opening scene of this episode was on par with the first episode's opening in terms of awesomeness. The scenes with Sawyer were also classic.

Seeing as it doesn't air on TV here in Australia until February, I'm downloading each episode as they come out. All 3 have been brilliant so far. And, if you paid attention to that Orientation video, we may have found out where our panda bear came from

Maybe because the content of the books itself is still enjoyable and fun to read? Just because something is "childish" doesn't mean everyone from all age groups can't enjoy it. I myself don't rate Rowling too high either (for example, I still believe she based a lot of her books of other fantasy novels such as Lord Of The Rings. I mean, how the hell is Kreacher not[/] Gollum?) but I still find the books run to read, and will be reading #6 after my brother finishes with it.

One that I like, although also not based on a real war, is still realistic and in present times. It's called "The Tomorrow Series" by John Marsden, with 7 books plus 1 after the war, is about Australia being invaded and a group of teenagers who aren't caught essentially surviving and doing what they can to help win back their country. Has quite a bit of fighting/blowing shit up, if that's what you're after. Go here if you want more info

Saw it this morning actually, even though it doesn't come out in the cinemas until August here in Australia (), and it lived up to all my expectations . One question though, which includes SPOILERS, so I'll write it in tiny writing: When we saw the row of heads in Kevin (Elijah Wood's) dungeon, were the three from the right the Japanese chick, Gail (Rosaria Dawson) and Brittany Murhpy's heads?
