  1. It doesn't sound like anything! Its printed words! If it was Gerrard it would have the word 'man' every other word, and 'eeearm' before each sentence.
  2. You knows it, clart! Downloaded all the free stuff off the website, got Half Man/Half Machine, going to see em the free Middlesbrough Music Live festival on the 31st, and I'm waiting to get a T-shirt in my size.
  3. 'For t'Sheffield James?' Sean Bean is the worlds most versatile actor ever. Yorkshire MI5 agent, Yorkshire Irishman, Yorkshire man of Gondor, sure am looking forward to his Yorkshire Greek in Troy.
  4. I like Moore too, he's the comedy Bond. But then I'm also partial to Timothy Dalton. Connery > Brosnan > Moore > Dalton Haven't seen the Lazenby one, OHMSS?
  5. I don't see what the big deal is, the Rolling Stones have been rocking against bush since the 60's. (budum-tish!)
  6. Heroine by Suede. Do they mean Heroine or Heroin. Who knows, but 'I'm aching, cos I need my herion(e)' is a tad obvious.
  7. Worlds most underrated forgotten riff: The solo at the end of Ordinary World by Duran Duran. Boom! Bet you didnt think I was gonna say that!
  8. Just a Day was on GT3, and as far as I can tell its the same as the single version. Sweet 16 was on GT1, as well as instrumental versions of Chicken on a Bone, Tangerine, and possibly Shade. I mentioned the Ash song earlier (kicks ass from the opening TIE fighter noise to the end), Everything must go was the opening credits theme. Might just leave it for now, a few of the songs in MDK's list are already on the ol' pod, so might shift em over.
  9. Tried. No luck at all, kept getting the US and Japan versions. But thanks for the help with the Garbage tune, its defo one of the ones thats going on.
  10. Zulu needs to be in there badly. Escape to Victory for light relief in the middle. Black Hawk Down to make the most of my very expensive home cinema kit.
  11. Thing is though, although those are all on the CD, I dont think all are on the game. I dont remember Film for the Future or Chinese Bombs being on the game, although I could be wrong. Has anyone still got the actual game to check? Sorry to be annoying.
  12. The Charlatans - Up at the Lake and whatever the new Gomez album is called. I've had to hold back on buying em because I'm in revisionfest, but couldn't resist buying Morrissey and Meltdown by Ash on monday.
  13. I'll admit I missed the last line so will withdraw the Beatles, and replace with the Super Furry Animals. Constantly forward moving band, constantly pushing forward boundaries. Knocking out the whole album on DVD anyone with a video for each, premiering in cinemas the day the album was released. Recording an album in surround sound. Boasting an E-list Hollywood actor as a former band member. Having Paul McCartney crunching carrots and celery as a guest musician. Holding a Guinness World Record for most expletives in one song. Making the best selling Welsh language album of all time. The list goes on...
  14. Trying to make a playlist on my iPod to play in the car, but I can't remember much of the first two games. There was definitely a Garbage song on, but I forget which, and I've no idea for the rest (apart from Lose Control by Ash, the seminal GT song). I've looked all over, so if anyone can help it'd be appreciated.
  15. California Waiting - Kings of Leon California - Gomez Pretty much the whole of So Much For the City by The Thrills. Besides the obvious Big Sur, Santa Cruz (You're Not That Far), Hollywood Kids, and Your Love is Like Las Vegas (admittedly not Cali, but close enough) the whole album is so California influenced its crazy.
  16. Call me crazy, but I'm gonna say the Beatles. Without them, there'd be no Nirvana, Britpop would never have happened, and the current scouse scene would be rubbish. Viva la Coral!
  17. The question is whether to enter the basic Ted n' Dougal version, or the Divine Comedy version from the video. Divine Comedy would be easier to book live these days though.
  18. I think this is essentially why PS2 sells so massively well in the UK. I've had mine for nearly two years and the only game I bought was Pro Evo 3 (got Timesplitters 2 with the console), as well as borrowing some off my brother. But given Pro Evo, three mates, a few beers, and the prospect of more beer later on, the average UK 20 something is happy.
  19. I tend to watch the voting, its the best part. Apart from Guildo the German from a few years back, he was a legend. Last year I watched the end of the voting with my brother and his mate, and UK and Latvia were tied at nil pois until the end. We'd been quoting Chris Pontius' 'Latvian police are stern, stern but fair' each round, and then they finally got five points! We deservedly lost.
  20. Rockit by Herbie Hancock. Not only the Soccer AM showboat choon, but superb at the same time.
  21. What a quote that is. We advanced the sport of robot combat. Trey Roski, I salute thee!
  22. And Bobby's gift for exaggeration. 'Gary Speeds jumped fifteen feet to get that ball', 'Alans broken his neck to make that header'.
  23. Of course the single greatest free music festival in the country is in two weeks. The Middlesbrough Music Live festival. Electric Six headline (meh), but Razorlight and the Ordinary Boys are confirmed, more to come. Always a good laugh as its outside the crown court, but theres ten year olds pissed off their heads running round, and hash everywhere. Police just look on, its the most bizarre day of the year. Last year we got the Bandits, the Darkness, the Burn and Hope of the States. Its a hell of a festival for nowt.
  24. Ahem! I think you mean 'Dark of the Matinee'. I bought it in Virgin where they were selling the ltd edition one for the same price as the normal one, and a load of schmucks picked up the standard one. I smugly bought the fancy 2 CD one at the counter next to them. But yeah, review the Morrissey album. I was going to buy it monday, but my exams start thursday and I'm going to wait until I'm finished and treat myself. Incidentally, this monday is the most annoying CD monday ever. I want Morrissey, Ash, The Charlatans and Gomez, and they all come out this monday. So in three weeks I should have a degree, 4 CDs, and Transformers for PS2. Roll on June!
