  1. In this case it would be the clunk of plastic bottles!
  2. Or they just don't think he's British anymore because he went off to Greece!
  3. Hobo

    Best Pixar film

Up for me. Even above the Toy Story movies. A Bugs Life would probably be my least favorite. I seem to always confuse it with Antz though
  4. Maybe you've been dooped into signing Raimond van der Gouw by mistake.
  5. This has led to a nights worth of fun tweets and the spamming of his wiki page http://i54.tinypic.com/l8y2e.jpg (mickey = penis).
  6. Two-Face looks awesome. Odd this would turn up I'm just after watching Mask of the Phantasm.
  7. I actually don't care. Because I owned this: And this was the least comfortable thing ever to wear. So anything that isn't this is okay.
  8. Er.. Hammy, Crouch played more games last season than Pav, Defoe and Keane. He's clearly not just "option B".
  9. An interesting article on the transfer window from the perspective of a player by former Spurs and Toronto FC player Rohan Ricketts. Source
  10. Clearly he is a reformed man from the 'arry we used to know!
  11. Yost was the longest serving orignal cast member too. Maybe the problems that saw him getting a lesser role in Zeo and eventually written out of the show were somehow related to this.
  12. Raul Meireles deal is done, 10.7 million. My google for the player resulted in reading this article that is all HODGSON BE GENIUS HE BE.
  13. My players seem to be constantly injuring each other in training. However, we are over 40 games unbeaten in the league and sit 9 points clear of second place Derry with about 5 games to go. We're out of the utterly meaningless Setanta Sports Cup, after losing to Athlone 2-1 AET. We're in the quarter finals of the League Cup and the FAI Cup I think. Losing Connor Clifford to a broken foot was a sad thing. I have John Joe O'Toole, Ian Ashbee and Brazilian Rudimier to call into his place and oddly even though he's 36 I'd probably pick Ashbee.
  14. 1) A Wild Sheep Chase - Haruki Muramaki 2) Candide - Voltaire 3) White Noise - Don DeLilo 4) A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man - James Joyce 5) Montaillou - Emmanuel Le Roy Ladurie 6) Have A Nice Day - Mick Foley 7) Lt. Nun - Catalina de Erauso 8) Moab Is My Washpot - Stephen Fry 9) God Is Not Great - Christopher Hitchens 10) Post Office - Charles Bukowski (I'm not finished it yet but really enjoying it)
  15. I could see us losing. I just could.
  16. I came within 10 mins of the Europa League only for AEK Athens to eliminate us on away goals.
  17. I have decided to draw these groups: Inter Bremen Spurs Cluj Man U Madrid Ajax Auxerre Chelsea Roma Rangers Twente Arsenal Shaktar Braga Rubin Kazan
  18. A GTA game with a bunch of characters from several different games all getting together to do a sort of Ocean's 11 style heist or something would be kinda cool I suppose. Especially if it featured Tommy Vercetti.
  19. Never! He'll be Liverpool's next English signing as Roy continues this 'look how much I love English players, woundn't I be great for the England job' kick he's on. Or, maybe he's doing it because Benitez left Liverpool's squad too short of homegrown players to even qualify for the Premier League!? He MUST sign english players because there's only about 4-5 at the club over 21 and you need to have at least 8. I'm going to let rockbox take this one...
  20. It's not depth, it's decline. If Aquilani, Kuyt, Mascherano, Benayoun, Insua etc. were still in/going to remain in the squad. Then the players signed would add depth. However these players are going out of the club and the players coming in are nowhere near the same calibre.
  21. To be honest, I still think this is going to be Liverpool's worst season in the Premier League. All the signs are there and re-building means nothing when the owners want away and the manager is probably going to be gone within a season or two.
