  1. Same except swap Houllier for half of the Blue Square Premier's coaches. Well, Mansfield, Forest Green, Altcrinham and a few others.
  2. AFC Wimbledon, we're 3rd at the moment and I thought maybe a possible title push was on. But our form has tumbled. Gifton Noel Williams has been struggling for form and Mickael Firmin a rather excellent little French DM/CB that has attracted interest from the likes of QPR and Empoli has been suspended which hasn't helped. Plus Irish Premier League star Richie Baker, whose done a pretty decent job for us, is injured. I'm confident we'll reach the play offs but I'd love a late surge to nick the title off Luton.
  3. Yeah but that was in 1908 so it hardly counts.
  4. This is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper.

Clearly we should make it T.S. Eliot day/week/month/whatever on EWB.

  5. I wonder if City would give me anything for any for any of my players? I mean Danny Kedwell has to be worth at least £1million.
  6. After going out 2-0 to Charlton in the FA Cup, forced to rest a few players for the Newport Co. game. Lost 3-1. Dropped from 3rd to 5th.
  7. I downloaded new English club logos and they made my Premier League, FA Cup, Carling Cup and FA Trophy logos not appear.
  8. Just as recently as a few weeks a go Stokerino was talking about Chelsea fans who chant stuff anti-semetic stuff about Spurs. And yes, Italian football by all accounts is a bit of a mess in general. I imagine the only real reason why this is reported now, by English media, because he's playing in England.
  9. Oddly just read a thread Ellis posted about the this stuff, while Balotelli was still in Italy, on DL last year. According to Ringy at the time, Balotelli:
  10. An earlier Wiki search tells me Kidderminster were the last team to do it in 1994. I think. It has been several hours since I read it. But no team from the non-league has ever made it past the fifth round.
  11. Isn't that the magic of it though? Seeing small clubs, non-league clubs taking on bigger teams and beating them. I tend to get drawn to non-league teams and smaller Football League clubs, especially if they're managed by ex-top flight players. Or have them playing in them. Like Burton Albion a few years ago. Or indeed Cardiff when they had Jimmy-Floyd Hasslebaink. Or Denis Wise's Millwall. I'd love to see a lower league team win it one day. Actually, what is the furthest a non-league side has ever gotten in the FA Cup?
  12. Bloody Stevenage! They prevented what would be the tie of the round.
  13. I disregard the game and load the same leagues all the time. It's not that slow.
  14. I'd expect more than being in 11th and three points off the relegation zone, from a team composed of players who this time two years ago were top of the table.
  15. Have you tried loaning players MPH?
  16. Had another 4-1 beating Southport! My left back scored from a cross!
  17. And 2-1 now. Macheda scores, but until they were 2-0 down Utd hadn't had a shot on target
  18. Villa 2-0 up! Nice counter by them for the second!
  19. I haven't really. Aside from a 4-3, 4-0 and 4-1 (the one I posted against Port Vale) generally I only manage 2-0s and 1-0 wins.
  20. Charlton next in the second round!
  21. Clawing up the league so far as AFC Wimbledon. Gotten into the BSP play offs places so far.
  22. Off the top of my head, perhaps: Everything is One Big Christmas Tree - The Magnetic Fields Christmastime in The Mountains - Palace
  23. I think at this point Warren Barton would have a better chance of getting called up than Joey Barton.
  24. How come they don't pick Bradley Wright-Phillips then?
