  1. Arsenal 1-0 Sunderland QPR 2-0 Swansea West Ham 1-1 Aston Villa Newcastle 2-2 Tottenham Man City 4-0 Southampton Everton 0-1 Man United
  2. I don't think I'll ever be able to decide between Three Lions and World in Motion. It would be Three Lions, but Barnes rap is iconic. The official songs (for England) since 98 have been dreadful. Even Kammy has let himself down this year
  3. From an outsider I think it makes great business sense, but if the Leeds home kit was changed to orange (I realise we've only had the white for 50 years) I don't think I'd be too happy with it. Think Cardiff will look like a knock off of Wrexham
  4. Michael Cole (as the non wrestler, not the staff) starts unemployed as opposed to in the WWE
  5. Thats from the BBC, and statement on club website. Sure every LUFC will welcome this. Toronto Maple Leaf owners the ones being linked with buying us (although they've now denied interest), anything that sees the back of Bates is good news to me
  6. Russia won Eurovision
  7. I want to be in Greece
  8. Montenegro must win this. Amazed Iceland got Michael Carrick to sing for them
  9. No he isn't. He's massively overrated because he's powerful and quick, which are the two commodities British football values over everything else. He's a thoroughly average right back. I think he's better than Johnson, but not as good as Walker. Smalling and Jones have shown glimpses of ability but would be too much of a gamble being out of position
  10. Oddly Richards sounds like he's dropped too and Zamora is in
  11. BBC reporting Walker out injured and Ferdinand dropped. Also seen reports Carroll and Ruddy are in and Crouch is out
  12. Wasn't sure to be honest, hadn't seen anything to suggest he was or wasn't naming extra just went off what Capello did. Think this is his provisional squad but the official squad don't have to be submitted for a couple of weeks
  13. Have we said how many players we're naming in the provisional squad? I know we did 30 in Capello but saw the Dutch named 36. I'd genuinely consider naming 35 to 40 to give a few of the outsiders for the squad a proper look at how they train and fare in the friendly.
  14. I don't think Crouch has been terrible, not done too bad this season. I'm on the fence with Holt, would certainly consider him for the initial provisional squad. Lescott I missed from my 23 man squad, he'd go instead of Jagielka. I'd also look for Shawcross as an outsider
  15. I dislike Ferdinand as much as anyone, and think he is far from the player he was at 2002 World Cup but he's had a good second half of the season. Actually made Evans look a capable defender
  16. Who would you pick for the England squad? Think its a tough one as I don't think can take Ferdinand and Terry. I'd go: Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David Stockdale and Fraser Forster Defenders: Micah Richards, Kyle Walker, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Leighton Baines, Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka Midfielders: Frank Lampard, Adam Johnson, Michael Carrick, Aaron Lennon, Scott Parker, James Milner and Ashley Young Strikers: Wayne Rooney, Peter Crouch, Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge and Theo Walcott Some tough selection issues. I don't think you can take Crouch and Carroll, don't think you can take Ferdinand and Terry and think the fifth striker will boil down to Walcott or Defoe. Lennon I just went for over Downing as well. If we name a 30 man provisional squad which I think we will the other seven players for me would be Shawcross, Downing, Defoe, Graham, Carroll, Barry and Oxlade Chamberlain. The goalkeepers could be changable as after Hart the depth is awful, maybe look at Ruddy over Stockdale
  17. Merson coverage of the game yesterday was brilliant, fantastic end to the season. Sitting in a pub full of that lot in red shirts made it even better, and doing the Poznan with the only 2 other people supporting City was quality
  18. Went to the Hereford game earlier and was a decent match, although would have liked to see them stay up was good for the neutral. The Crawley goal effectively killed the game as was 3-2 at the time but Torquay were battering Hereford at the time, when they released that Crawley had scored they more or less dropped their heads. Needed a Burton goal but wasn't to be. Did feel a bit guilty when checked my phone and some old geezer asked how Barnet finished, accidently said Burton won by getting muddled with the names and he ran off delighted to tell his family
  19. I fancy Blackpool for the playoffs this year. Looked very good against Leeds the other week and they will be tough to beat. If they win at home to Birmingham they've got enough pace to kill them on the counter at St Andrews. I fancy Cardiff to win the second semi. Both teams are bottlers but I think they'll just edge it, and set up a rematch from the final two years ago (first time that'll have happened?) I think Blackpool will take it from there I'm off to Hereford on Saturday what looks like one of the biggest games of the day. They 1 point off safety at home to Torquay who are outside the automatic places on goal difference so both have to win, should be a decent game
  20. I've searched but can't find anything, is there a way to make every player a free agent in the editor? I've never really used the editor but sure in a previous year a button just released everyone from a contract
  21. Ashley Cole is a nailed on left back for me, Right back I've gone for a different approach and gone with Lauren. Had a solid spell and was a key player in the Invincibles season. Always seems to be one who gets overlooked
  22. Presume this is better here than in the ring, Paddy Power are running prices on Wrestlemania which can be found at http://www.paddypower.com/bet/novelty-betting/sports-novelties/wwe 4/6 on Cena to win and 6/4 on Bryan I like, may double them up
