  1. I had looked into switching to BT but unfortunately BT infinity isn't in my area for whatever reason and therefore there was no advantage to making the switch. Slightly annoying to have to pay £20 a month for it when I know I'll only watch Champions League football, therefore they better bloody go through!
  2. Does it translate to whore mother? I would have translated it as I shit on your fucking mother as puta in front of a noun is used all the time to say fucking in Spanish. Still not the nicest thing in the world to say but perhaps changes the implications a little. Whilst we're discussing Spanish if you were to describe something as being "de puta madre" you would be saying that it's great/fantastic, I used to use that a lot when hanging with my Spanish friends. Perhaps we've misheard a preposition and he was simply meaning to say he had a great poo.
  3. I'll take a Coutinho hat trick to boost my fantasy teams points! Had a decent week so far 50+ points, can't complain too much.
  4. They should sell us Lloris and buy Valdes in return
  5. I learnt to play at a family gold club, had free coaching on the Saturdays and played junior tournaments on the Sundays. Also went to all the youth events they did over the holidays, loved it. Family clubs also have the benefit of not being so stringent on dress code etc. First thing you should do is hit a driving range, at most ranges I've been to they'll have some clubs set aside to let you practice with. Would move onto pitch and putt to experience a short course and after a few months on the driving range hit a real golf course. It takes a lot of time to perfect shots, I have a handicap of 16 and I can be wildy inconsistent for no apparent reason. Sometimes I'll have ace long game and then hit the ball from one side of the green to the other for five hours. However I have to say it's an extremely addictive sport and the first time you nail a shot you'll get what I mean. Hitting great shots is just such a rush.
  6. Decent win today. By no means amazing but some good signs in there. I think there will be a higher quality of play and more flair once we're a few more games in. Hopefully we sign Pedro and a striker to give us more oomph. I think with our strong midfield we can get away with our defence, although Blind has started well as a centre back thus far.
  7. Do we have an EWB one this year? Anybody know what the code is? I forgot about setting this up last week until about 11am and was too late to set up a squad, so have just done it today.
  8. Own goal had a great season for us a few seasons back so glad to see he's back in a red shirt. No need to bolster our attacking options now.
  9. Ha yeah, why should they give back? They've dedicated their lives to playing at the very top level why not enjoy one big last pay day in a great city rather than scrapping down in the championship for Brighton.
  10. I watched Jurassic World yesterday on the SKY Superscreen, loved it! Yeah the story is stupid etc. but it was just great fun to watch and clearly that was the opinion of many people around me who all went out saying how great it was. Certainly the best of the sequels.
  11. Thus far I've found Dragon Age more enjoyable than The Witcher, it was just such an engaging game, could barely stop playing it whereas The Witcher I seem to only be able to play in fits and spurts.
  12. God I love this Barcelona team, watching them play tonight brought back so many great memories of nights at Camp Nou. They bossed the match tonight and were the best team in Europe by a long way this season. Visca Barca!
  13. I have to go for Barcelona. The two years I lived there were some of the best in my life and this current team is one of the best Barcelona teams there has been, the front three are outstanding.
  14. You do realise this is the end of the season and not the beginning, right? I'm sure they'll add the 2/3 players they're lacking over the summer to make sure they do challenge. I'm saying with that core they'll be really hard to stop next season. Sanchez is some player.
  15. I have no doubt this Arsenal team will be challenging for the title next year. Cazorla, Ozil, Ramsey and Sanchez are sublime!
  16. I've never watched a Mad Max film before. I literally have no idea what I just watched. Can't quite decide if I liked it or not. Just doesn't stop!
  17. Yeah I just saw Rooney sit out a season and then retire at 33 because he wanted £125k a week. Well down on his normal demands but also far too high for the stats he had. It's amazing how quickly he deteriorates. Happens every game (although normally some team pick him up, never had him retire at 33 before.)
  18. In the link Man United with all players going apparently we're set to sign Gundogan this weekend. Would not be a transfer I'd complain about. Also I don't see Austin at Bournemouth. I could see him at a club like Stoke or West Ham though. Not sure he would cut it at the top teams.
  19. All those sausages probably didn't help.
  20. A person who enjoys sampling all the different flavours of sausage the world has to offer?
  21. Delighted to have an East Anglia team in the premier league again (not that they were gone for long!). Norwich have a lower team premiership squad already so I think they will be able to stay up.
  22. It seemed like Matt was on the verge of making a good point until he decided that he was a better fan than any fan of a successful team as his team has done worse than them. Why do we need to argue about the virtues of what being a good/bad fan is. A Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal fan is no worse than a Leeds/Carlisle/Leyton Orient fan. Just because we have differing levels of success doesn't make people better or worse fans.
  23. It's a great pirate game. I'd rank it as the best assassins creed. Speaking of which I've gone back to Unity in order to complete that. It's not as fun as black flag as I don't have the boat and I'm stuck in one place again.
