  1. Cor couldn't believe it when I heard Teddy had signed for us! Yeah he may be 41 but he'll still be a damn good signing hopefully enough to keep us afloat this season without the two main strikers of last season.
  2. Am I the only one that can never beat Everton away from home?! I'm fed up of losing to them :'( Also if anyone wants to play a network game I don't mind being the server for it. All you need to know to do it is my IP address
  3. Oooooo get it! So I knocked down my house as I didn't have enough money for some very basic stuff (fridge and bed...). And I completely forgot to check the season and it snowed and my legacy sim died! Oh well I shall have to begin again now, I think I'll have a woman to start with this time.
  4. I never seem to play Veronaville. There's just something about it that puts me off. As for the expansions the must have one in my mind is Seasons. It just adds so much in my mind by seeing the differing weathering conditions. Also University is good for all the new social interactions it introduces.
  5. So I just started a legacy game and I will post some screenshots of it as it progresses. Right now my house is extremely basic with nothing on the walls or floor as of yet. (I built it on foundations) So I have no money left and just a bed, toilet and shower thus far...hmm this could be a hard game!
  6. Argh!!! 3-0 up as Arsenal at home to Valencia in the quarter finals of the Champs League and then in the last 5 minutes it becomes 3-3. Now I have to try and win away from home and my team is awful away from home it's why I've been unable to hold a lead in the premiership this season.
  7. Where is the one in Canada going? This sounds like such a great idea. Although I already love 7/11. Mainly due to Slurpees which are just such a great drink to have when chilling on the beach with some friends.
  8. Just to end the Hargreaves debate he has been a player that United have had on their want list for a long time. Reports for a move for him first came about in Autumn 2005 but then he signed a contract for four years and so the interest from the papers linking him to United disappeared until after his solid World Cup. Anyway Hargreaves is a great signing for the club as he is a player who has often talked about wanting to play for United which means he'll but in passionate performances rather than be here just to get a big paycheck.
  9. How do you get the wishing well?! I want one!! I get so frustrated near the end of the career ladder as it seems to take like 2 days to get that final skill point, I could never imagine standing in front of a mirror all day in order to get that final charisma point.
  10. Well I guess they do need heavy investment following their disappointing season last year. Fernando Torres story seems to be getting closer to it's conclusion though apparently Garcia and Cisse will be involved in a swap deal plus some money for him. Although he'll be a very good signing I don't think this is going to cause to many worries for United and Chelsea.
  11. Ya sounds fun, though I've never known how to do them before as it's something I've never managed to get into thus far.
  12. Ergh I got bored and started swapping teams around the different leagues to try and interest myself, I took all the big teams out of the premiership and shoved them in the conference and conf. n & s and then moved lots of other teams up and down divisions and some teams across the world into various leagues. It's a different type of game now and quite interesting. I would have expected either Bolton or Villa to step up to the plate and lead the premiership without the likes of Everton, Spurs, Newcastle and the big 4 but it is in fact Charlton that are on their way to glory! Oh well next season will be interesting as it looks like Auxerre and New York will be joining them possibly with Boavista. Conference is like an ultimate league nowadays with Milan leading the way. Also Oxford surprsingly somehow are leading Serie A!! Despite Inter, Roma and Lazio still being there.
  13. I support Colchester and it's going to be a tough season for us this year as Iwelumo has left and it looks like Cureton is on his way as well. However there are a few teams around our quality and if we can beat them then I reckon we can just about stay up and get to use our new stadium next season in the Championship.
  14. Ergh I'm just hoping that the ruling will settle the matter once and for all as it's damn annoying that this continues to overshadow the Premiership.
  15. This issue is going to last all summer unfortunately. It's not fair to have a 21 team Premiership either though as it means an extra team goes down and one less team goes up from the Championship. It's all just a clusterfuck of a situation and you have to wonder how it will pan out. In a way I want the bid to be unsuccessful so that normality resumes and Sheff Utd just face the facts that in the latter part of the season they deserved to be relegated because they simply did not play well enough.
  16. Stinks of desperation by Real Madrid but they should have utilised him properly rather than basically force him out the club then realise his quality and try to keep him. They shot themselves in the feet by treating him so poorly that he looked for a move away as he was willing to stay it seemed.

  18. Shame A Fish Named Selma isn't on the list as that episode was amazing! Mind you there are so many fantastic episodes that I guess shortlisting 400 into 32 is always going to leave out a lot of great ones. ------ Group A 7.21 22 Short Films About Springfield vs. 7.13 Two Bad Neighbors 4.17 Last Exit to Springfield vs. 7.1 Who Shot Mr. Burns?: Part 2 Group B 4.12 Marge vs. the Monorail vs. 5.8 Boy Scoutz n the Hood 6.12 Homer the Great vs. 4.3 Homer the Heretic Group C 3.10 Flaming Moe's vs. 1.1 Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire 5.4 Rosebud vs. 8.18 Homer vs. the 18th Amendment Group D 3.17 Homer at the Bat vs. 3.13 Radio Bart 6.6 Treehouse of Horror V vs. 6.14 Bart's Comet Group E 6.25 Who Shot Mr. Burns?: Part 1 vs. 6.24 Lemon of Troy 4.9 Mr. Plow vs. 7.12 Team Homer Group F 5.15 Deep Space Homer vs. 5.10 $pringfield (or How ... 19. All I can so is sing their song MILAN .... MILAN! I got quite hooked to that last night watching them lift it. Also to whoever said Chelsea would run riot or be more attacking than Liverppol were against Milan think again! Chelsea play some of the most defensive and boring football that has been seen! Sure it's effective but I would rather watch an attacking loss than watch my team grab a 1-0 week in week out. Not as though Liverpool play much better they look to nullify just like Chelsea and I find it very hard to support a team that plays like that. Perhaps in a way Milan deserved the win just as a victory for flair football even if theres wasn't much last night the fact is they still rose to the occasion and won. Also Kaká played well, he won the free kick and set up the second. Even if his performance wasn't outstanding it was still effective and that is what counts at this level.
  20. Took the big decision of leaving Manchester United after 4 years. I won 4 premierships, 3 Champs Leagues, 2 FA Cups and 3 League Cups there but obviously wasn't really very challenging. Moved onto Ajax now where I'm rubbish in the league seems to be impossible to win away from home in the dutch league! The team with the best away record has picked up 7 points from 6 away games! However my team is doing fantastic in the Champs league! Managed to beat Inter away and at home with a squad that is way below their quality so I'm pleased that I've got through to the next round. Champs League is what I love playing in more than the leagues.
  21. Well played Chelsea I guess. Showed the importance of taking your chances, Manchester United may have had more possession and created more chances but just like against Arsenal a few years ago they failed to hit the back of the net. This year they barely forced Cech into a save, nonetheless best player yesterday was Rooney by quite some margin. He seemed like the only player who was really willing to give it a go and gave Chelsea problems. Robben did very well as well though his tendency to fall over really puts his team under pressure. Giggs seems to do the same and doesn't seem to bother tracking back these days.
  22. Booyah turned my form around . Thanks to the magic attack of Kaká, Rooney and Ronaldo....and Fernando Torres who hasn't scored since about September and it's now almost January. Though I won't moan as he has quite a lot of assists to his name just wish he could have more than 4 goals to his name this season. I mean Vidic has 5 for goodness sake!
  23. Anyone know a good style of tactic to counter defensive ones? Every single team is using a 4-1-4-1 against me and it's doing my nut in! I just can't seem to break it down.
