Gilligan has said that they expected Jimmy to become Saul by the end of Season 1 but they fell in love with Jimmy so much (and Kim and everyone else) so much that they couldn't let Jimmy go just yet. The end of Season 1 is clearly the setup but thankfully they changed up and let us stay in a pre-Walter White world longer.

I did the same thing in 2006 when the Tigers won the ALCS. Looking at the "AL Champions" hat only hurt more when they shit themselves in the World Series and lost in 5.

This show needs an end date or a major reset. I didn't have cable last year so I missed most of the season and just watched this and was most uninterested. So it looks like we're set up for another season of plotting towards taking down a big bad. But I still have hope for Glen based on this image:

This is the only thing I have issue with. In the pre-fight hype video, Punk said of Gall "He's fought tomato cans, that doesn't make you a professional." Then he refused to shake Gall's hand at the weigh in and said: He thought he could get away with acting like a tough guy and thought he could get away with trying to act like his wrestling persona and that backfired in every way possible. To me, the fact that he used his wrestling music showed that he wasn't taking this as serious as he could. If he wanted to show that this wasn't a publicity stunt and he was committed to becoming a legitimate fighter, he would stayed as far as possible from anything to do with wrestling, but he didn't. So he can still say how much fun he had and how he's never going to give up, but you know that if he would have pulled the upset he would have talked so much shit after the fight.

So...about Punk's "NEVER GIVE UP SPEECH"

Joe Rogan kept talking about how "This is what happens when a brown belt spars with a white belt" and the first thing that popped into my head was Punk saying that he didn't do BJJ "to earn belts" as if earning a belt level in a martial art makes you some kind of a mark or something. Oh well.

Reading the decision, makes Brendan's involvement all the more improbable.
