  1. I still think it might be possible that Avery may have killed her, but there was just nothing convincing presented that Brendan Dassey had anything to do with this
  2. I was feeling the same way until I watched the HBO Real Sports special on the Olympics. God damn the IOC makes FIFA look like an upstanding organization. Also, from that, I found out that the Olympic Torch relay was started Joseph Goebbels and the Nazis.
  3.

I went to stock market today. I did a business.

  4. I just started watching last night and am through Episode 10 of Season 2. This show has hit me square between the eyes and made my think about EVERYTHING in my life way more than a show about talking horse that is a washed up 90s sitcom star ever should. If I was an emo high school senior, this definitely would have been my yearbook quote Pffft, they left out Frankie and Vader.
  5. WWE fired Billy Gunn for a non-WWE test, so there is precedent. Also, New York has a wrestling commission and if Nevada suspends him, usually commissions honor suspensions from other states.

  7. I watched the two new Star Treks with Beyond coming out and he fit that role so well. I can't imagine that cast without him.
  8. That's what Entourage was. They'd be great at the beginning of the season, Vinny would say "It's gonna be a great year," they would have struggles mid-season, Turtle and Drama would do wacky shit and by the end a "Dues ex machina" role would fall into Vinny's lap and everything would be great. These shows aren't meant to have real stakes and instead just show how awesome celebrity life is.
  9. Adnan Syed has been granted a new trial
  10. All of Season 5 was so good, but that finale was just too depressing, even for VEEP standards. Plus, the political nerd in me was just pissed off the entire time about the way they handled the election, being that it has no bearing to what would actually happen. But JLD was on fire "I really I hope I didn't fuck Richard." In other shows, just started Season 2 of Deadwood. I guess poor Anna Gunn was just born to be the wet blanket wife.
  11. Giant floating head Bryan Cranston Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa You have my attention
  12. Just started watching Deadwood...thoughts on the big event that happened in Episode 4
  13. The UFC is reportedly has been or is very close to being sold for approximately $4 billion
  14. They might hear the case just based on the arbitration/CBA implications. Also, still possible the entire 2nd Circuit may hear the case and suspend the suspension temporarily
  15. Well...my wife is in labor

    1. K

      K

      Dope. Name the baby Keith.

    2. Benji

      Benji

      Congrats! This your first?

    3. IDOL
  16. Reportedly, nothing official yet. He's already apparently settled out of court with his accuser.
  17. Literally the only part of Ant Man you need to see is the after credits scene...and Ant Man isn't even in that
  18. It's the old wrestling bit of "I NEVER SIGNED THE CONTRACT!!!!" Next up, a Ronda Rousey heel turn due to her new "Iron clad, no-cut contract." From Meltzer:
  19. Ben Affleck to star in and direct a stand alone Batman movie.
  20. Abed having a slightly large recurring role in the 7th season of Gilmore Girls is slightly jarring
  21. Former New Orleans Saints DE Will Smith was murdered in New Orleans today
