Use the L3 to crouch, which will reduce the amount of noise you make. Here is something I found from a Gamefaqs guide, which gives some help:

"There is a Black Boxville across the street from the Ganton gym in Los

Santos. This is the only vehicle for this mission, and it must be done

at night. First, you need to drive around and see what houses you want to

rob (they have a yellow entrance arrow). After this, enter them and

creep slowly (crouching helps). Take the expensive items like TVs, VCRs,

PS2s, etc (yes, this is an anachronism). Load up the Boxville and case

another house. You have until 6:00 to get to the lockup in the southeast

corner of Los Santos, in La Playa de Seville."

Here is a method I have yet to try:

"Since Home Invasion is such an awesome way to make money,

here's my guide for it. Start at about 18:00 by taking the van out to

the barrio where Cesar lives. At 20:00, start casing houses. There are

four houses on this block with three items each. Here's the strategy for

ALL invasions: Hit L3 to crouch in and run to the item. Hit Triangle to

pick it up. Run out, ignoring the noise meter, drop to van, repeat.

Once you run out of the house, the cops will not come. This makes it

very easy to get all the houses on this block done quickly. On the way

off the block (towards the lockup), there's another house on the corner.

Take the two items out of there and head to the lockup. Don't drop

anything off, but start raiding the houses around the lockup. Try to get

up to 20-25 items and drop them off before time runs out. I've made up to

$6000 on one night of work, and I've done this a few times.

Reward for stealing $10,000: The money you stole."

There is a property you can buy down the street that has a garage. I'll probably steal the boxville and try storing it there, and use this method a great deal...provided it works as well as it sounds.

The drug dealers are very abundant after reaching the Badlands. There are two types, as far as I know. Mortis named one and the other is a white guy with a grey hoody. Killing drug dealers is the easiest way to make mad cash real fast. In just ten minutes of gameplay (real time) I went from $15,000 to over $50,000.

Alright, I've gotten to Sweet's second mission (the second time he's available after the gang war) and earlier before Cesar did the race I was able to modify my car. However, with hardly any cash I didn't do anything. So, now I have plenty of bucks and want to, but am unable to. When can I? Or How, rather? As it seems the body shops appear on the map, but are closed.

I saw an advert for this program and didn't see any clips of GTA though that doesn't mean its not centred around, just that they couldn't get any clips because its a new game. I saw a few Manhunt clips and stuff like that on the advert though. I'll watch the program, just to see what they have to say. Any publicity is good publicity for this game now anyway.
