First of all, MadTV is fucking garbage.

Second of all, the best Comedy Skit I have ever seen is "Philouza" from Mr. Show. It's the one of the smartest things I will ever see. It just fucking blew me away. That whole episode (308: Bush is a Pussy) is pretty amazing actually.

EDIT: BTW, the motivational speaker skit was written by none other than Bob Odenkirk.

Holy Crap, I can't believe I totally bypassed Mr. Show when I put up my favorites. Oh wait I remember why now, I was wasted. I have the first three seasons on DVD but here are my five favorites (in no particular order)

really the only one i can remember is the mahir skit on madtv.

The mannequin skit on MadTV was quite funny in its time.

The Tom Green skit on SNL when Green, Ferrel and I believe Kattan were all eagles and Green just started to lick Ferrel's face. Jimmy Fallon couldn't stop laughing. It was quite...interesting to say the least.

Bah, all the rest had been mentioned, although I have a soft spot for Lothar of the Hill People.
