Chris Demakes of Less Than Jake

The guy is fantastic to watch onstage, lots of energy and his between song banter is consistently funny.

I haven't posted any lyrics because he doesn't write them.

Ugh.

Thursday.

I saw them, and more importantly that guy, at Reading and felt like killing myself. IMO the guy can't sing in tune for shit, and just swung the mic lead around and fell over a lot. It didn't help that when he spoke he sounded like a camp 12 year old boy.

I agree about Thursday being average, but I must say...

I'd listen to a critic over the people who post on a Wrestling message board. Not to generalize wrestling fans, but they sure do listen to some awful music.

Chris Cornell is one hell of a frontman, yes. As is Scott Wyland(I can't spell is last name) from STP/Velvet Revolver. He can pull off anything he wants and he just has that image.

I would also give Kid Rock credit due to the simple fact if you ever see him in concert he's awesome. Even if you're not a fan you'll get into it, he can pull a crowd into anything. The guy owns the entire audience during his time.

Other than those three I'd have to mention this guy Forrest from a local band in my area called "Blue Storm". I don't know why, but every time I see this guy I get the feeling like I'm watching a legend in work.

actually.. i take that statement back.. cause originally i said Jim Morrison as the best frontman and he was WAY worse to the Doors than John and Paul were to The Beatles.. i guess i didn't say John or Paul because i don't want to cut anyone short.. specially George

and the reason i didn't just edit my above post is because it was so far down the board nobody would have noticed

erm...corey taylor anyone?

*waits to be killed for being "a angsty teenager*

Bones in the water and dust in my lungs

Absorbing, archaic, like a sponge

The ultimate way is the way you control

But can you stay if you detach your soul?

Bury the present and squeeze out the past

The ones you endear to never last

Chemical burns and the animalistic

I'm just another hardline pseudo-statistic

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

I'm dying to feel this! (Dying to feel this)

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

Blood on the paper and skin on my teeth

Trying to commit to what's beneath

To find the time is to lose the momentum

You learn the lessons and immediately forget them

Automatic and out of my reach

Consult all the waste to find the key

Minimal life and the polysyllabic

I'm just another blank page

Push the button, pull the rage!

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

I'm dying to feel this! (Dying to feel this)

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

I am all, but what am I?

Another number that isn't equal to any of you

I control, but I comply

Pick me apart, then pick up the pieces

I'm uneven!

I am the damaged one

All my life and the damage done

I am the damaged one

All my life and the damage done

I am the damaged one

All my life and the damage done

I am the damaged one

All my life and the damage done!

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

I'm dying to feel this (I'm dying to feel this)

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

I'm dying to feel this! (I'm dying to feel this!)

Can you feel this? (Can you feel this?)

I'm dying to feel this! (I'm dying to feel this!)

Can you feel this? (No!)

No!

I am all, but what am I?

Another number that isn't equal to any of you

I control, but I comply

Pick me apart, then pick up the pieces

I'm uneven!

I am all, but what am I?

Another number that isn't equal to any of you

I control, but I comply

Pick me apart, then pick up the pieces

I'm uneven!

Lemmy_Kilmister_10_02_7.jpg

Okay, The Cambridge gig last friday convinced me. Lemmy, cmoing towards his 60th year on this planet, still rocks as much as anyone on this planet. And to put out an album like Inferno this late in your career is excellent. Lemmy, this ones for you, and heres another one for 4 decades of non-stop rock.
