As if that kid would be the type of kid being picked on. Looks way too much like a 'general' bully. It pretty much could ruin the game if you're playing a game like that, with a character like that.

He looks more like a rapscallion, like a little scrawny kid who always gets into scrapes with the bigger bullys, not a geek type, more of an underdog who doesn't back down.

Surprisingly, it's going to be rated T. Game Informer has a pretty hefty preview in its latest issue and while the game will feature violence (punching, kicking, hitting people with cricket bats [or rackets, or whatever the fuck you silly cricket players call 'em]), there will be no killing and no blood. Instead of a pistol, you have a slingshot... the game will likely receive the ever-ridiculous "comic mischief" description.
