Sucks about the White Zombie song. Hopefully they get a better guy to do Rob Zombie's voice. I guess this confirms a metal version of Devil Went Down to Georgia as the final encore. Weren't the Aerosmith and Dead Kennedys songs confirmed earlier, though?

There was a "leaked" set list that a lot of people deemed fake, but a lot of the songs that were recently confirmed (Aerosmith, CDB, etc.) were featured on that list.

... what. I'll do my best to reserve judgment but that sounds so lame.

Maybe will get a special violin attachment for the guitar just for Devil Went Down to Georgia. :shifty:

Kind of wish they'd went with something better for the final encore, though they probably wanted this song since the final boss battle is against Lou the Devil.

There's a couple of stinkers there (Kaisers, Chilli's and Killers, I'm looking at you), and plenty I've not heard of, but the same was the case for the first two games, so I'm not too bothered. I take it that list includes both set list and bonus tracks?

I believe so, as both sites listed it as the 'full' track list. There are still various rumors that Killswitch Engage may be added at some point, so we'll see if anything is announced within the next couple of weeks.

I think I'm going to sell my PS2 copy of Guitar Hero 2, then buy a used Xbox 360 version of it after GH3 comes out. Are the extra songs on the 360 version good, as in, fun to play?(besides The Trooper, which is the main reason I want to get the 360 version)

Copying Biggz, the songs I'm looking forward to are:

Aerosmith - "Same Old Song and Dance"

Alice Cooper - "School's Out"

Beastie Boys - "Sabotage"

Black Sabbath - "Paranoid"

Dead Kennedys - "Holiday in Cambodia"

Guns N' Roses - "Welcome to the Jungle"

Heart - "Barracuda"

Iron Maiden - "The Number of the Beast"

Living Colour - "Cult of Personality"

Metallica - "One"

Mountain - "Mississippi Queen"

Pearl Jam - "Even Flow"

Rage Against the Machine - "Bulls on Parade"

Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Suck My Kiss"

Slayer - "Raining Blood"

Slipknot - "Before I Forget"

Smashing Pumpkins - "Cherub Rock"

Tenacious D - "The Metal"

The Rolling Stones - "Paint It, Black"

White Zombie - "Black Sunshine"

Which I think makes this the best guitar hero ever.

Mmmm, my list looks considerably shorter. Bolds being the main ones. Woulda been so much cooler if they had Velvet Revolver's "Fall To Pieces" instead of SBQM, but I guess it's 'cause SBQM is from their album and it needs pluggery. Same with Metallica's "One", surely there was a better choice? (Enter Sandman anyone :pervert: ?)

Short list as most of the songs I've not heard, although I've heard OF them. I would say I'm looking forward to Pearl Jam, as I want to like them as I'm a fan of the other three of the Seattle Four (Nirvana, Soundgarden and Alice In Chains), but all the Pearl Jam songs I've heard are meh. Speaking of which, where in the hell is Soundgarden? Fuck off AFI with your Miss Murder, gimme Rusty Cage, Outshined, Black Hole Sun now!

I'm sure that I'll quickly like a lot of the songs on the game when I play it though, after all this was the game that gave me The Exies with "Hey You", and that wasn't even the best song on that album.

GH4 needs more Soundgarden, Alice In Chains (Man In The Box please), Alter Bridge (Find The Real and One Day Remains seem like high end songs), Exies, Shinedown and Black Stone Cherry (Lonely Train, or any song on the album, would be immense).
