Ooh, Twitter friend!

Actually came in to post betting news, I actually won something! After winning a couple of quid on the Europa Thursday I smashed an obvious City, Chelsea, Arsenal treble on, followed by Spurs, Juve, Twente today. Few small high odds efforts lost, but I'm about £40 up for the week, something weirds going on.

I have three bets on the go at the moment, with Shanghai Masters just starting today I've had a look around for some decent value and got a couple of doubles set up.

Dolgopolov & Lopez

Haas & Mayer

Seppi & Cibulkova

The first players in each of the doubles have won their matches, and the other three go tomorrow. First two both in Shanghai and Cibulkova in the WTA match in Linz. Would be nice to win all three, not big bets or anything but I'm looking to bet little and often and see if I can make some money that way. Keeping things to doubles as maximums really, too unpredictable to bet on tennis in big amounts in my opinion.

Cibulkova withdrew from Linz so voided half my bet, that means I made tiny profit on the Seppi part of the bet. Mayer hammered Tomic 4&0 to give me the second bet and I'm waiting on Lopez to win later today to get that third part of the bet. Should have profit, however small, for the day though.

With that in mind I've gone for a Baghdatis and Monaco double as well as Baghdatis, Monaco, Cilic and Simon all in a Lucky 15. :) Back to work today so won't get to sit in and watch it all but ah well.

EDIT: Marc Giquel to beat Michal Prysiezny in Rennes. Giquel has the experience and home advantage, up against a doubles specialist and I've doubled that bet with Yanina Wickmayer to beat Mallory Burdette in the WTA match at Linz. Bit more experience at this level should see her through. And that double equates to about 2.55. So okay odds.

I'm still betting small though. Have to watch my funds so can't be better £20 per bet at the moment, which is a lot for me - at least.

A bet of x amount of teams all to win, whereby the money from each bet rolls over onto the next bet.

So on a Saturday you may bet on Man Utd, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Doncaster, Wrexham and Ebbsfleet in an accumulator. If you stick £2 on then that £2 goes onto the bet, if a team wins then the winnings + stake go onto the next team, then if they win then the cumulative winnings go onto the next team and so on and so forth. If a team loses then the bet loses.

They're pretty popular so I assume you have them in Australia, the example above may just be referred to as a 'six-fold' since there are six teams in it.

Generally what you'll get is a lad in the pub with 19 teams on having bet 50p and he's informing everyone how he's waiting on £40,000 possibly. Only to have 6 teams screw it up for him and him proclaim how close he was to being rich.

EDIT: Summers did it better than me and with less words. :(

Since I'm up at the moment I've gone for a hopefully dead cert Belgium, Ireland, Portugal treble to double a fiver. Maybe.

Also a daft eleven teamer for a pound and a cheeky 50p each on Wales to win or draw. Not likely but Bale might have his diving boots on.

I just won a pound tossing about on my phone and betting on a horse called Full Ov Beans because its a silly name.

Mortgage on Shola.

11/5? Fuck that. Ladbrokes anytime scorer odds are horrendous, you can only get 4/1 on Amalfitano who never plays.

Edit: Should really get on with work but just won another 6/1er with a silly name. Trying for a threepeat with a horse called Carlito something. Who will challenge? Peanuts stakes since I know fuckall about horses, but I'm three quid up in half an hour...

Edit: No one can challenge Carlito! Anyone want any tips?

Win. Although not as much profit as I could have had as I had a last minute bet on City to win. Foolish really given they have no European record to speak of since these billions came in but I just didn't think Ajax would be good enough. Especially after squandering a 3-1 lead against Heracles in the Eredivisie at the weekend.

Either way I still have some profit for the nights work, and that's the main thing. Especially after the stinkers I've had at tennis the past two weeks. :(

Had my first real bet in ages today, Liverpool-Newcastle-Spurs-Atletico tonight at a little over 7/1

Was gonna have a bet at my bookies last night but the landlord wasn't in, bet came through to, at what would've been about 17/1 (Malaga/PSG/Porto/Ajax)

I managed to be up £30 this weekend which I'm pleased with since I only do small bets. Withdrew most of that but lost a few quid last night and smashed the rest on an acca and a btts acca for tonight, no idea who though now. Think Newcastle are my only real worry, don't usually bet on them but quite fancy us tonight.
