Ack, Survivor and Brave New World :thumbsdown: The rest of the books in that segment range from ok, to meh-ish, so it's definately the worst bit of the list for me so far.

American Psycho and To Kill a Mocking Bird are great lists and deserve their spots on the list.

American Psycho is probably one of the most graphic books I've ever read, but also provided incredible dialogue.

To Kill a Mocking Bird was the best book I was ever assigned to read in school (ok, one of them) and I'd love to read it again on my own time.

I've never read any Stephen King so can't comment, just never seemed my style of book though.

Battle Royale is massively important and seminal and does deserve to rank highly in any such list.

Never read BR but always wanted to. Never even heard of 1984. Seeing The Stand at #2 was awesome, I loved that book, perfect in every way. But Gunslinger gets mixed reactions from me.
