Um, I didn't mean he could score in soccer. Just that he was an amazing offensive player. Best goals in soccer can somehow be compared to the best goals scored in hockey or any other sport too, eh?

Besides, I'm positive Savard can play soccer better than Ronaldinho can play hockey. I play both and can occasionally kick the soccer ball nicely, but to do what Savvy did in hockey is something else.

Not really, as they are completely different things and involve different skills.

I don't think so. You can't really compare relative skill in a given sport to relative skill in another, it's a case of apples and pears.

Nayim's goal would have been better if he actually meant it. The fact he looked across the line rather than at the goal before hitting the ball suggests he didn't.

As for soccer, I loved the freekick goal the Korean Hwang Kwan Bo (or whatever his name was) scored against Spain in the 1990 World Cup. That was brilliant.
