There's a reason even the Mets gave up on Jorge Julio. The guy flat out sucks. I feel bad that the Rockies let the fate of their season rest on his rotten right arm, but then again they got what they deserved for putting him on the mound without a 6 run lead.

You've got to be absolutely kidding with me.

Double off of Hoffman by Matsui, followed by another one by Toli. Then a TRIPLE from Holliday ties it back at 8-8 with nobody out.

My gawd. Fear the Rockies.

Edit: A bloody Holliday scores the winning run on a sac fly to right. Rockies take the Wild Card and are rightfully celebrating...aside from the bleeding MVP candidate, that is =P

Double edit: And let the speculation begin. Replays show that Barrett may have blocked the plate and the home plate ump gave a late call. That said, Rockies still win.

Unbelievable chokejob by Hoffman (again), and yet another reminder as to why he's not a Hall of Famer in my mind.

Holliday looks like he's concussed while the rest of the team is celebrating. What an amazing finish.

And he never touched home. That's a more crushing end to the season than the Metsies historic collapse was as far as I'm concerned.

Padres get jobbed, but who cares now? The Rockies are in, and now I have a reason to watch <_<

EDIT: I didn't see the replays, I'll see them on SportsCenter. Was just going by what I heard.

Wait what? He has 524 saves. I didn't even think it was a question...

As for the game, just a fantastic game. Sucks that it had to end that way, but still a great game. This postseason is going to be a lot of fun.
