I keep hearing everyone bash AFI's live performance, but Davey and company completely stole the show from anything I've seen out of the New York branch of this shit concert. Hearing them cover Ziggy Stardust was magical.

I was flipping through the channels and saw Taking Back Sunday singing and playing severely off key. I wanted to listen in and give them a chance but it was painful to.

Foos were excellent. Tallica were alright but it was a bit of an anti climax. They only played Sad But True, Nothing Else Matters and Enter Sandman.

ES was strange as well, I don't know why, but they seemed to change the tune up a little and it didn't come off well. Foos were the act of the night by far unless Beasties were exceptional.

I spent most of the day watching it on Sundance, the coverage was pretty annoying. Time to watch it on MSN now. Spinal Tap were the higlight thus far, mainly because they perfected the "we're too old to rock, but we're still gonna try" look.

I'd also like to see more love for Keane on here. I saw them live at Ally Pally and have to say that they were awesome then, and awesome today. Not in the league of Foos - but then Dave Grohl is a God.

I still think the whole thing was a waste of time. I know nothing about climate change/global warming.

All I know is Spinal Tap/Foo Fighters and Metallica (amongst a few others) can tear through a Wembley crowd like something that tears through something else with a high level of tearing brilliance.

Anybody else hear the rumour Blink 182 are playing? The guy who's hosting it on the Irish channel said there's a rumour that they will. But he's an asscrack so I dunno.
