Couldn't be bothered with the scores, some interesting games tonight though. Will defferz be a few upsets along the way, think i predicted four or five. Good luck to everybody who's team is in the first round.

Ipswich will break their streak against losing to lower league teams in the Carling Cup tonight, will be a close game though, will be an edgy encounter to start with i believe. Only three or four changes to Saturday's team that smashed Wednesday on Saturday though, Sylvian Legwinski, Jamie Peters, Fabian Wilnis and Danny Haynes expected to come in for Owen Garvan, Jonathan Walters, Jason De Vos and Alan Lee.

Not 100%, you've still got the F.A. Cup.

We haven't had a good FA Cup run since about 1995/6 when we beat West Ham and took Chelsea to a replay, or vice versa. Since then its been 1st rounds or 3rd rounds when we were in Division 1/Championship.

Grimsby tend to have better League Cup runs here and there. We beat Derby, Tottenham and took Newcastle to the limit in 2005, and we beat Liverpool and did well against Arsenal in 2001.

Couldnt beat us that time that two guys were sent off :P

Oh, and tonight we were awesome. 4-1 against Lincoln, never thought id see that. Now all we need to do is carry it over into the league! :P

Looking forward to saturday :)

First time I get to use my season ticket this season, hopefully it'll be worth it ^^
