Carling Cup Tonight

Coventry 1 - 2 West Ham

West Ham were shite, really bad performance and how we managed to grab the win I've no idea. It's fair enough we have a lot of injuries (two more after this game) but I'm glad Curbishley still laid into them, as that was pitiful.

Still into the quarter finals we go, and after tonights games it now seems to be shaping up.

Fuck off Everton, just fuck off :-(

Everyone of my accumulator wins came off tonight, except for Everton who are instead winning in extra time, which has lost me 300 quid, to say Im pissed right now would be the understatement of the year.

In other news, Rovers won and Chelsea made a meal out of winning

You bet that much and part of the bet was Luton beating Everton? That's just ridiculously stupid.

So then...

Arsenal

Blackburn

Chelsea

Everton

Liverpool

Man City

Tottenham

West Ham

In the final eight - a very strong quarter final draw of all Prem.

Ramos is looking good after that game so as long as we avoid Arsenal (and probably Chelsea), and especially if we can get a home draw against one of the others then I've got hope for a place in the semis.

Ah alright, not so stupid then. You didn't really lose £300 though, you just didn't win it :P

Exactly. It's like those fools playing Deal Or No Deal who deal at £10,000 then get all boohoo cos they COULD have won £20,000. They feel like they've LOST £10,000.....NO YOU ARRIVED WITH NOTHING NOW YOU HAVE £10,000 MORONS!

Sorry, makes me angry.

Anyway back on the bet...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA :pervert:

So close, i'm proud of the lads, and I'd hardly call it stupid to bet on Luton winning, we're very good at home and have already easily seen off Sunderland and Charlton. Hell, we almost pulled it off against a very good Everton side. It would have been nice to call ourselves Quarter Finalists, but oh well.

Good draw I think, but as you say a little bit same old, same old. The Chelsea/Liverpool rivalry needs no introduction and Arsenal/Blackburn have found themselves in a rivalry too. Then we have the overachivers Man City vs the underachivers Spurs. Then you've got two of the chasing pack in West Ham and Everton.

At least this way one of Liverpool/Chelsea will fall away. Plus I think Blackburn might be able to upset the Arsenal kids. It'd be nice to see someone like Blackburn, City or West Ham win the cup.
