Apparentely Arsenal's head of scouting was in Holland to check out Piet Velthuizen (really talented goalkeeper) and PSV's Ibrahim Affelay. Would be cool to see more Dutchies at Arsenal.

Oh and Olaf Mellberg to Juventus in the summer and maybe Downing to Tottenham too.

Ferguson clearly wants to play Hargreaves and Carrick in midfield and then let Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo combine with the fourth man. It's pretty obvious.

Going back to Man Utd, they signed that Angolan Manucho guy, so you have another attacking player there.

Another American looks like he is about to make the jump to the EPL in Chivas USA GK Brad Guzan he has in the past weeks been linked to Celtic but Villa just doubled thier bid and have offered around $4m. For those of you that probably dont know much about Guzan he won the MLS GK of the year this past year and has recently cracked the national team roster where he is likely to stay. Other American GK have had success in the EPL so it will be intresting to see how Guzan fairs if he does indeed land with Villa.
