Watching Mirai Nikki, despite how late it is.

Random thoughts on Episode 15

- So we're gonna get some explanations about Eighth. This is good.

- New theme music < old opening music.

- The kid with the puppets is kinda creepy. Glad he's dead at this point.

- Well, we know one of the diary owners who hasn't shown up yet is guy with crazy hair (the one who looks like the street punk from Shaman King).

- Interesting. Hinata, Akise, Kousaka and that other chick are all in blue. Perhaps that means they are diary owners? Well, we know Kousaka is an "apprentice owner" so maybe they've got or will get similar diaries.

- Actually, so was the chick on Giant Hair Guy's lap. Hmm.

- Baker Lady looks sad around candles. Perhaps she's mourning a loss or maybe the candles represent her apprentice diaries?

- CEO guy has a thing for cell phones. I wonder if his phone ability has to do with tracking other phones.

- Twelfth is the awesomeness. I need to find his crotch-grab dance in gif format ASAP.

- Kousaka is such fun comedy relief fodder. Too bad he's probably going to die a horrible death.

- Damn you, Yuki! Why would you smash his diary? How can he predict the brilliant sticks he will pick up now?

- So Eighth's diary is a server that hosts the blogs of the apprentices? Okay, so they're giving Baker Lady information. But what does she do for them? I'm guessing she gives them orders but what incentive do the apprentices have to follow them?

- Oh god, I think I know what is going to happen at Yuki's house in three days. Goddamnit! (Stupid Youtube spoilers :()

- Suspected to be Eighth's follower? It's totally gonna be Yuno instead, isn't it? You're trying to swerve me, aren't you Mirai Nikki?

- Why, Yuno? Well, I'm not a mind reader, but the whole drugging and kidnapping thing MIGHT be part of it.

- Kousaka's house? Well, goodbye Kousaka. I'll always remember your brilliance.

- Bah. (I do know.)

- Uh, no mom, asking your child why he was being chased by the police isn't prying. It's kind of fucking important information!

- Oh god, knowing that Yuno has been in and already left your house. That's bad news. Don't eat the potato salad!

- Though, why wouldn't the police have noticed or done something? Yuki, you're trusting THESE people with your life. The ones who didn't notice the crazy 17-year-old stalker girl who is also part of the game (where you murder each other) walk into and out of the house.

- You're going to let them IN? Seriously, Akise? That plan sounds stupid.

- If interfering with the tower disables the apprentices diaries, wouldn't it also disable Yuki's (and Yuno's as well, since she will probably show up)?

- And the plan didn't work. Way to fucking go, Akise!

- Wait a sec, so it wasn't the apprentices then? Aw, shit. Yuno's 'bout to be killing some bitches!

- Yuki, you moron. You expected the crazy stalker to STOP stalking you? Plus, you know that she selectively edits her memories to forget what she doesn't like (for example, you telling her to leave you alone and to go to hell).

- Yes, Akise, bring the highly capable fighter up where she can't fight, with at least one chick she fears will steal Yuki. Seriously, THIS guy is some major genius?

- Kousaka's going to the tower? :( Good-bye, Kousaka. You will be missed.

- Well, you guys are all fucked, according to Yuki's diary. Watch as he convinces Yuno to fuck these apprentices up so his friends stay in the land of the living.

- I don't know what the guy half of the couple's deal is but he amuses me. Cross Couuuunnnntaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

- See, Yuki, when he shows you his diary like that, that's when you take out one of your darts that you're so good with and put it in his phone. Or his eye. Whatever works.

- Anyway, this guy can predict his opponent's movements. I'm guessing it's a flawed diary like Kousaka's and can only predict it when it's planned ahead of time.

- Flirting Diary? That's really fucking lame. And not useful. At all.

- Flirting with Yuki? Baaaad idea. Yuno does not allow it.

- "I'm not into girls." Bwahahaha. Second most amusing line in this show (just behind Akise's weird confession about being "interested" in Yuki)

- Well, Hinata and Mao are down, just like your diary said. And Yuno's a bitch and doesn't care at all about them. How are you going to try and save them, Yuki?

- Free the beast, Yuki!

- That guy punched through a door. That seriously happened.

- Tandem smoking. :) I love how they just lit up while Yuki was thinking to himself.

- Yuki, you really think YOU are gonna drive them away? Right.

- Other diaries? What.

- Ah, tandem seventh. That's kinda cool.

- Yuki, you don't really have a choice. You're a little bitch and they will fucking kill you. Free the beast!

- Random making out! Team Seventh is ... I don't even ...

- On the one hand, Yuno telling Yuki that she sincerely loves him is kinda sweet and I almost want to believe she means it. She probably does. But, on the other, she FUCKING LOCKED HIM UP AND DRUGGED HIM. Run, Yuki. Run far away.

- So his (and her) diary is essentially the same as Yuno's then? :shifty:

- "So what?" My thoughts exactly, Yuki.

- Clearly, it's not the couple with the deepest love but the couple that's the craziest who will win. Seventh, you should probably get the fuck outta dodge.

- Okay, Team Seventh aren't complete assholes. Actually, a couple of diary owners (like the kid) have gone out of their way to avoid hurting civilians.

- I expected them to burn down the building and get out, but they're going back IN? Whatever, you guys are smoking, I want some.

- Oh, Yuno, I will use you alright. ;)

- Yuno is a very strange character. She wants to get rid of any possible competition to her place with Yuki but she's also willing to save his friends, should he ask. Granted, she's totally gonna blackmail him over this to get sex, but that's the way she goes. There's worse blackmail.

- Yes, stand there like an idiot, Yuki.

- Seventh guy is kinda badass.

- I know a few people who hate Yuki that will be all over him but I like that Yuki is weak and has to depend on people. He's not TOTALLY defenseless, but he's a fifteen or sixteen year old in a game of death. He's an underdog to put it mildly.

- I was expecting Yuno to go crazy and fuck people up. This did not happen. I am disappoint.

- Taken the diaries but not destroyed them? Hmm. Maybe Team Seventh want a rematch?

- Eye patch chick (Minene)!

- But why exactly is she there? I know here and the Police Guy have a thing going but I'm not sure exactly how she could help. Smoke bombs? Flash grenades?

- New ending song is great. Really creepy.

- Guessing Akise is the hand knocking down the white piece (Queen?).

Grrr....having difficulty finding something new to watch on Crunchyroll.

Someone find something for me to watch! Be warned, I watch it at work....so lots of fan service/nudity is a bad idea.

Edit: Cancel that...decided to go with Demon King Daimao.

You're severely limiting your choices by ruling out fanservice it seems, anime seems very pervy. And I don't know what's on Crunchyroll but I'm enjoying Moretsu Pirates quite a bit recently. Have a lot of stuff to watch though but that's definitely my favourite of this current term but I'm watching a hell of a lot at the minute.

Episode 15 of Mirai Nikki:

--Not everyday you get an email from God.

-- THOSE BASTARDS, THEY CHANGED THE MUSIC!

--And why is Third and Fourth in it....and Fifth...These peopl...Sixth too! These people are all dead!

--Same for Tenth!

--I do not like this intro. It's too happy for something this dark.

--"Couple Plan" Ah, I know where this is going.

--Ha, way to fuck with him Yukki. Though, I did notice an apple core on that not-so-Smart phone. Must've come from China.

--It would've been awesome if he went poof.

--Oh gee, enemies at your house, Yukki? I KNOW SOMEONE YOU TURNED DOWN THAT COULD'VE HANDLED IT :@

--They'll help! Of course, together there's no way they replace Yuno...but there you go!

--Ah, they finally went to the cops. Not-Fourth is on the case!

--Though....DON'T MOVE HIM INTO A SAFEHOUSE OR ANYTHING, UNDER ARMED GUARD. THAT WOULD MAKE TOO MUCH SENSE.

--Who indeed? :shifty:

---...That is not Yuno :( .

--Ahahaha! Yuno's there!

--Wow, he's scared shitless.

--They must've been reading this.

--Good christ. Isn't that the house from Fate/Stay Night? :shifty:

--So...why not get onto a private flight or something? Hide out in North Korea.

--Don't kill them or anything!

--They cut the power! How could they cut the power, they're animals?!

--Whompa waaa waaaaaaa.

--Well, guess you needed Yuno.

--HAHAHAHAHAHA! YUNO <3

--The look on his face is priceless.

--YANDERE TIME!

--That's right, tie up your best weapon. Christ, you're a tool.

--YEAH, YOU GET---nice going Not-Fourth.

--Unbeatable Brawler Diary?! So, what happens if the other guy has a gun?

--The Flirting Diary?

--Spot on timing Akise. Too bad they're cornered.

--Or you could simply untie Yuno.

--NO, NO YOUR PERM!

--Other diaries? :shifty:

--Wow, Marco changed his hair fast.

--So they're both Seventh?

--Better listen to her Yukki!

--Again they can't agree on his spelling.

--JUST CUT HER LOOSE, JESUS!

--There you go, now give grazy bitch the---yeah, good.

--The power of love is a curious thing.

--Now you got a problem.

--Shit indeed.

--I wonder if he'll realize that Yuno isn't too bad.

--Oooh, nothing gets blood out.

--....Yuno's knocked out?!

--Because he's a pussy, Marco, and she's a fucking psycho, that's why!

--Aw fuck, and now...well, Marco's right, eh is a loser.

--Yukki's right too, he know's he's weak and pathetic.

--OH SHIT. THEY HURT YUKKI!

--And we'll see nothing of it.

--No shit you've lost, Akise. You're a real fucking....detective.

--Gee, who could this be :shifty:

--She has an eye?!

--And no Murmur this week.

Well, that wasn't too bad.

I saw that on there...it looked interesting, but there were only 3 episodes or something available. Maybe after Demon King Daimao I'll watch it.

So far....DKD is fun. I like it! Although, it might be a little too much like Blue Exorcist (magical school, main character is a demon) after just watching it.

Will watch Mirai Nikki later, this no megaupload, rapishare etc. is absolutely killing me.. not that that has anything to do with anime or anything. Just.. sayin'.. :shifty:

Another Episode 3

I was kind of getting a bit annoyed with Another during this episode, there seems to be far too much skirting around the subject and a third episode of his fellow students "umming" and "ahhing" over what they're going to tell him was getting a bit tiresome. However the jock had a bit of a personality change and that was interesting, because he's the comic relief in this program and then he got serious all of a sudden - so it gives it a bit of substance. And then the ending happened. I don't even want to spoiler the ending in the spoilers.. just watch it.

And I actually cringed when it happened. And still am when recalling it now.

I'm falling miles behind because I just can't horde the episodes in quickly enough nor can I watch them when I get them. It's doing my head in and there's a lot of broken links now with people covering their backs so obtaining these episodes is turning into a bit of a pain.

I wanted an anime without a lot of fan service.....Demon King Daimao was not the correct choice.

It has Chris Patton and Luci Christian; this might be worth watching to compare and contrast to FMP. :shifty:

Got a little bit of stuff watched last night at last, but not a great deal. Here goes, in order of being watched:

Mortsu Pirates Episode 3

There's a lot of pink writing in the intro. Is this a girls program? Surely not with spaceships and pirates and electronical warfare? Anyways, in this episode the mast of the Odette II wouldn't come up so Kane McDougal and six freshman ladies went out to sort it out. I can see the point of the episode, Marika is this girl who knows nothing about pirating yet they're showing us she has all the attributes to become a pirate. That said, and while it's only episode three of 26 I presume, I'd quite like some pirating to begin and someone to shout 'yarr', like proper pirates.

It's an interesting take on the pirate theme, doing it in space and while it's not new or original it's entertaining and funny. Plus the lead character, Marika, is just one of those characters you can't help but like. Happy-go-lucky, every-smiling and the like so she's easy to support. Chiaki is the tsundere of the program and while you don't suspect her to have less than pure intentions shes obviously important in some way, so I will keep up with this one, if only because it's enjoyable still.

Mirai Nikki Episode 15

So they were sent by eight but are, in fact, both seventh. Makes me want to go back and watch old openings now to see if they both show up at all, or just one of them, or what because it has my interest. I also want to know if eighth knows these two are both diary holders in their own right and how. Sneaky move by them to have them blow up the house at the end, and I was convinced that at one point, Marco, Ai, Yuno or even Yukiteru was going to wind up dead - but they all survived. And I bought that even though there are still 11 episodes to go, I thought they were going to kill either another diary holder or a main protagonist, so it's still throwing up spills and thrills at this point. I'm interested in seventh though, like I say does eigth know? You'd suspect not and that they are both playing her, and what if one of them dies? Do they both die? Well, there's only one way to find out - well actually there's two - so we can wait and see. So we still have ninth, Minene the cosplaying terrorist, and eigth the giant headed woman, and seventh the couple Marco and Ai, and we still have that weird bald guy with the glasses and has about a hundred mobile phones circling around him in the intro. It's only going to get tougher, isn't it?

Brave10 Episode 3

Saizou and Keikai escort Isanami back to Izumo to see if they can locate 'the thing' that caused the ninjas to look for Isanami and destroy the town of Izumo to begin with. Call me obvious but I'm pretty sure it's that thing in her hair that causes giant balls of death. They reach a bridge where a woman has twister her ankle and can't walk anymore, wow, this seems eerily suspicious. As they cross the bridge the injured woman turns out to be a man - shock - and has grabbed Isanami and left Saizo and Keikai at the other side of the bridge, unable to get to the other side because of a vicious tornado the bloke whipped up. He tells his men to take Isanami's valuables but Keikai starts picking them off from the other side of the bridge. He then takes Isanami and sends Saizo plumetting hundreds of feet to his watery grave. As Saizo returns to the surface Keikai has made it to the bottom rather quickly. They run after the bloke who captured Isanami to defeat him. They reach the top and finally, epic battle scene, where Saizo wins and the opponent begs for mercy. Saying he nearly climaxed at Saizo's ability, odd. Isanami stops Saizo from delivering the fatal blow and they continue on their merry way. We're still very much getting to know the characters in this program so it may take a little while to kick on, until then it's rather humerous and doesn't take itself too serious so worth a watch.

Inu x Boku SS Episode 1

Okay I got this a while ago and I couldn't really remember anything about it. We're introduced to a bit of a bitchy character called Richiryo or something along those lines with purple hair and matching eyes. She has moved into some large house that seems rather secluded and special, and on arrival meets an old friend with a tattoo'd face. Charming. She then is introduced to her Secret Service personnel who seems rather loved up. The first episode is rather slow moving at first, a lot of characters and not really any interest in them and I started to wonder what genre this was, as I had genuinely forgotten and downloaded a slice of life romance anime? I couldn't remember. Then a burglar enters and demands Richiryo's money, her eyes begin to glow, her SS bodyguard appears and turns into a furry fox with lots of tails, a woman starts turning things to ice and a woman who dissolves and then returns as a big fuck-off skeleton. So that definitely got my attention and I'll keep an eye on it for a little bit to see how it progresses. And to think I nearly turned it off part way through episode 1.

IAceI on Mirai Nikki openings

If I remember right, the original opening only shows Marco's comb. In the first episode, it's also only Marco in the shadows. However, in the original ending, there was a flash of a couple on the ground under a window. I'm guessing that is Team Seventh. The newer opening makes it more obvious.

I'm most curious about what happens if and when Eighth and her giant head die. Obviously, nothing happens if the apprentices diaries are smashed, but what about Eighth? I have a suspicion that when she goes, the apprentices go too (nooo, not Kousaka! :crying: )

I love the robot-ish person who has to watch over the main character in Demon King Daimao. She is pretty funny.

So basically...a drug that can be used to control someone is now in over 100 students? Awesome.

\

Edit: Never mind, apparently it only lasts a day.

It's that time again ... Mirai Nikki episode 16!

- I will admit that the guitar for the opening is pretty cool. And some of the visuals are nice, though I preferred the vagueness of the first (you know some of the items you see are involved but you have no idea which or what they relate to).

- In love with the idea that Minene is going to train Yuki and especially that her training's probably going to pretty cruel. Evil look in her eyes means hijinks are sure to follow.

- Yuki's dad amuses me, what with being a giant pervert. Why the hell did he and Yuki's mom split up?

- Minene giving him a beatdown is wonderful too.

- Yuki's such a tortured soul. He never even got to see the stars.

- Uh, Yuki, how about if you win, you get to see the stars? You realize you can see the stars without them being married, right? Right?

- Is...is Yuno watching them from the bushes? Wasn't she in a coma? Apparently, the prospect of Yuki being within ten feet from a woman is enough to revive her.

- :crying: Nooooo, Team Seventh can't break up. They're too wonderful.

- Hahahaha, has Yuno been carrying around a knife the whole time? Where's she even get it in this hospital?

- Why the hell even is Minene helping Yuki? I don't get why she's coaching him when part of her goal in the game is to ice him.

- Terrorist principles!

- Pretty clever plan. It seems like much of this game is about relaying bad information to other diary owners.

- And now Yuno's using binoculars.

- Oh, Yuki's dad. You gun get it!

- Seems likely that Yuki's dad is working for that cellphone CEO dude from the opening. It also seems likely that he won't live much longer.

- How the hell do these people even know where Yuki is?

- Yuno is NOT about subtlety apparently.

- And here is the subtlety. Why didn't you just kill him earlier and say he left?

- OH GOD YUNO EYE. YOU GUN GET IT!

- Team Seventh in wedding attire. :)

- Villian's overconfidence. Either that or Mars/Marco just loves to fight/fuck with Yuki.

- Ah, okay, Team Seventh isn't stupid. Too bad Yuno's a super detective. I thought Akise was supposed to be the clever one. :shifty:

- Wow, Yuki, your dad is a dick. A dick who only cares about paying his debts, even at the expense of his son's life. His son he's basically abandoned. What a dick.

- "See Yuki, I was right. Now I'm going to murder your father right in front of you!"

- Yuki's dad doesn't quite get how this game works.

- Ta-kun? Who is that? (Eighth? Eleventh?)

- Fucking cliffhangers.

- Well, thanks to spoilers, I know what happens next. Kinda. Bah, damn internet.

- I actually prefer this ending song to the old one. It's more atmospheric, I think. Though I like the old video better, I think.

- And then there's Murmur. Let's see what dick move she has today.

- I love that no one seems to notice that she is not human-like at all.

- I also love that she always demands they do something for her, usually buy her a treat of some sort.
