Did computer games turn you to a life of crime?

A newspaper (not the Daily Mail... probably) is offering cash for your stories on how videogames made you "turn to a life of crime".

A listing on recruitment site StarNow, a hub for actors and musicians looking for jobs, has appeared reading, "a national newspaper wants your story and will pay hundreds of pounds to the right person".

The listing comes in the wake of last week's Byron report, which made newspapers nationwide, some with questionable headlines such as 'computer games get health warnings'.

All you have to do to get the newspaper's cash is "write a few lines about how computer games turned you to crime and if it's something we like, we'll call you straight back". Easy Money.

We've always said gaming was unfairly targeted in national newspapers, but offering cash on a actors recruitment site for stories that are blatantly going to be at least slightly fabricated is, frankly, disgusting.

Anyway, we've submitted our application, Viva Pinata did turn us into vandals down the local allotment. We hope to be able to afford our new trainers soon.

More like RPGs lead to a resurgence of breaking and entering - pausing only to allow the occupant to describe a snippet of their irrelevant daily life before the criminals thieve whatever they fancy and stroll back out the door.

After playing FFX, I went around for a while, throwing beach balls at people and playing with a small stuffed cactus.

No wait, that was before...

Also WWF No Mercy caused me to kill my wife and child then myself.

Loooooooowww.....

Anyway, playing Railroad Tycoon prompted me to build up a transport company from scratch, making me a multi-millionaire, helping the economy, and until now ferrying Daily Mail 'journalists' around the Southern counties. They're now banned unless they're carrying Game Boys and jumping on Goombahs til there knuckles bleed.
